Just a little update. Its flower day 52. Still a cupple of weeks to go. Tricomes look very ready but they been looking like this for a while and none are going amber yet. The buds are crazy dense and they been fattening a lot. I have some nutrient burn due to the hard tap water I give them but barely affected progressively trough entire flower so no harm done its a very tolerant strain I would say. I've had worse burn and even lockout with this water on other strains. What do ou guys think?

I love this grow diary man,you can see the whole transformation happening, especially the chromes changing colors!!!Also i read that you would change to 11/13 lighting schedule to encourage colors in the buds, can you give me some tips or point me in a direction with that?

Thanks. That's what I'm trying to do a full grow journal so people can really learn and analyze instead of surfing endless little topics.

About the 11/13 light schedule. Its to encourage flowering in sativa strains with long flower periods and to encourage ripenin on plant that seems like they will never finish flowering. The hole concepts relys on the hours of light in the native environment of certain strains. Where summer never reaches 18hrs light a day and winter has long nights. Trying to mimic the end of season will give the signal that is time to finish. Most indica varietys will fatten up in the last 2 -3 weeks. So this practice is not recommended on indicas cause you will lose yield.

Mine looked like yours about 5 days before I chopped. It was a tad early, but if any indication I'd say she should be prime around 60 days.

    Very nice! How's she smell?

Suuuuuuup people I got another update. I'm super psyched about my granddaddy purple actually turning purple even with temps above 25C. Just the first hues on some leaves but its way more than I expected. Tricomes look ready but not even a single amber so they are still fattening and getting ripped.

Hey 9fingers, all I can say is that girl is about as lovely as I have ever seen !!!!!! You have made me realize that my past cfl grows were pretty pedestrian in comparison to your corvette. VERY lovely indeed.

Thanks hope I inspired you. I realize now what's the key. Every body talk about watts when the deal are the lumens. The bulbs themselves come with the number of lumen they produce but you have to fit them in the space you have in a way where you know how many lumen/area you have. So 8000 lumens per square meter is nothing compared to same lumens per square foot. Its a 10 to 1 relation. Adding to that the loss by reverse square law. By Keeping the bulbs tight together and he plant close to the bulbs You create the right Intensity of light

Here I come with another update. Its harvest time. First stage.
                Here is the before
