    Bucket and reservoir change tonight.
first the main stage. Finishing up week 10 in a couple days maybe trimming soon! Still only seeing lone amber trichs here and there. Changed the pineapple Express and friends buckets. Staying at 1.1 EC for the pineapple Express and .85 for the other two. Doubling up on the cannaboost for the last few weeks. pH'd to 5.95 and light is 18" away. Here's a shot up their skirts 😉

The SoG is doing great checked the reservoir and both are holding at 5.84 pH. EC is at .9. roots are looking nice and white and the growth is quite amazing for these 9 band LEDs. Lots of bushy side growth, probably thanks to topping them. They are a little past one week into flower and signs of buds already starting. Light is 15" from the plants. Three girls made it through my f up and hope to get them into flower by the start of week two.

in preparation of the big grow being done soon I bumped the next six in line up in nutes. Jumped from around .7 EC to .93 to .98. pHing to 5.65. Been adding an extra calmag 5-10ml to one because it has been giving me problems since it's start as a clone. But it still grows right with the others, just has been yellowish. I've been growing them pretty normal, minimal training. Just trying to keep the height down. They were topped once about six weeks ago. I want to lollipop and defoliate all six under a 600 hps or the COB setup I want, if I get it in time.

hey Rosetta thats a good recipe just have 2 questions when you wrote 1 1/2+5 gallon bucket did you mean 7 1/2 gallons of the soil
what is ewc does that stand for earth worm castings?

Looks like a calcium deficiency in the SoG reservoirs, brown spots on newer lower leaves where the light is hitting them. So, I added 12 ml of calmag to each reservoir.
and....some buds pics of course 😁

Thanks d.a.a.s., it feels good to be getting back to organic. The whole point of making it medicine is so it's clean and beneficial. It's the whole reason I started growing organic vegetables.

Hey Stone, that's the way to do it, you got it going on now, a steady supply of your own supersoil. Supersoil is some kind of awesome stuff, an i bet your right about the burned tip hitting a hot spot.
I used to topdress with KindSoil, an every time I did ,the next day I would have a little tip burn.
Good Luck with your soil. Stoned.

Also I will be composting all of my old soil. I'll put the old soil in with some of the new composted medium and amend as needed. I figure I'll get a few grows out of it before needing to apply anything, if at all. Will also be making ewc and compost teas to further supplement the soil microbes.

Mixed my super soil this weekend.
    receipe is.....
Medium- 3 cubic ft sunshine mix #4 advanced with coco coir (7 5 gallon buckets)
1 1/2+ 5 gallon buckets each of purple cow compost and coast of Maine lobster compost- I ordered the CoM compost because i read about it
1 1/2 + 5 gallon buckets each of ewc, two kinds
2 +/- 5 gallon buckets of perlite, added a little vermiculite because I had it laying around.
(Part of this came from another forum and can't take credit for it)

    Amendments...
    Equal parts;
Blood meal- high N for growth
Bone meal- high N and P for flower and root structure
Bat guano- high N and microbes and enzymes
Iron tone- micro and macro nutrients
Garden lime- pH control and macronutrients
Garden gypsum- pH control (helps lime move through soil and prevent compaction), root growth, micro and macro
Oyster shells (ground)- calcium, pH control
Green sand- takes forever to break down but good K source, mined from the sea (never used it before, from another forum)
Fish meal- excellent for microbial life, high N and P
Chicken manure pellets- slower release N, beneficial bacteria
    Rock phosphate- for flower
Tomato tone- balanced fertilizer, high K
Garden tone- balanced fertilizer, higher K
Dr Earth garden fertilizer- same, for diversity
    Doubled these;
Alfalfa meal- good K source but adds beneficial microbes that help break down nutrients to readily available
Kelp meal- apparently this one is magical and I've been missing out on it in my vegetable garden, adds aminos, carbs, vitamins, minerals, plant hormones, and much more (another one from a different forum)
Neem cake- well rounded source of macro but mainly for pests and disease
Azomite- rock dust for micronutrients and trace minerals
Mega mend natural minerals- another trace mineral source

i used 3 cups per cubic foot of the amendment mix, that equals about 16 1/2 cups. Then 3 cups of the rock dust mix for the whole pile.
I spread out a tarp in my sunporch and got to work. Took about an hour to measure all out and mix (took me longer to type this out haha). I cleaned out a garbage can and put outside my grow room. Hauled it down stairs in batches wetting it down as I go. It filled a 32 gallon can (compacted) and two, 3/4 full, 17 gallon round totes I'll use for my no-till flowering. Now it just sits for a month at least. Occasionally wetting it down if it gets too dry.

As for the semi super soil going now. Looking good other than a few leaf tips on one plant turned yellow. Happened a few days ago right after watering. Hasn't progressed any further. Maybe part of the root zone hit a hot spot. Started another little one a couple weeks ago with the left over soil I had from that batch. It also looks great.

As for the SoG...12 are flipped as of yesterday. One of the light burned ones didn't make it, two more are barely hanging on and three have come back. Going to give these five another week at least. Moved the LEDs to the flower room, set at 15", for the 12 and have the five under a 6500K 125 watt cfl.

Not much else, still over crowded veg room. I'll update about the soil grow in a few days.
