You know what i hate?

Never had and never will own a stationary bike. Isn't that really virtual reality? I mean your pedaling but ain't going no where. That's just dumb.

Junk food is the new tobacco

I hate junk food.

I remember in the 60s when a hamburger had a 3 inch diameter and that was a normal serving. Then the US became the obesity/diabetes/heart disease capital of the globe as servings grew 5 times larger and more processed. The guy in dune said that fear is the mind killer? Hell no: junk food is the mind killer. The obsession with zombies over the past 20 years, as junk food and opioids and television transformed the nation into a herd of walking dead (See How the zombie represents America’s deepest fears ). Since Romero's Night of the Living Dead (1968, a film I'll never forget), the country has grown progressively couch potato/passive/sedated except for the occasional Jan 6...

I blame much of it on junk food's zombification of the american mind...

omg, did i REALLY just say all that? I must have been high...

Just call me Carrie Bradshaw. The fan died, parts were melted inside. Luckily my neighbor as a child and now neighbor again fixes them. He had a HD, fan, bottom case and battery, mine was newer but the heat warped it. $40! Best thing so far, other than losing everything, during my summer of Everything's Broken. I'm pretty tapped and nothing's growing yet. Since October: broken phone replaced, new clothes dryer purchased after going without for 6 months, central AC repaired, car repairs x 3, one to go; several dispo trips during good sales. Unfixed yet: leaking freezer, leaking washer when it fills, kitchen sink sprayer leaking underneath. Constant rain, costliest lawncare summer yet. My income: < $1K/month. Thank goodness for an excellent credit rating, cashback credit cards with no interest for 15 months, and Illinois' facial recognition laws.

No exaggeration. I spent so much time on hold in Dec/Jan with health insurance that now their music sets me off, like ptsd.

Another insurance claim, another $1K deductible. Only in my town a few months ago it hailed for 30 minutes, no where else. I just had my roof checked, it's dimpled.
