why is my seedling stalk shedding?

has anyone noticed or experienced this?

the stem of my seedling below the cots seems to be peeling off..

its not a reptilian strain afaik.

Idk what it is. I'm tryin to remember if any of my seedlings DIDN'T do that.... but I've never noticed it making any difference in the way they grow.

Mine look like that. Don't peel it off, though. may tear up the rest of the skin.

I just had this happen to my gorilla glue. I was kinda freaked out at first but she seems to be doing just fine. No idea if it's normal or not...

I’ve had it happen to just about all of my plants. As the stalk grows thicker it rips open the outer layer, kinda like the Hulk ripping through his shirt.

Almost everything I grow is from seed and they pretty much all do that. I do have a weird Expert Gorilla auto going right now that I'll post a pic of in Time to Show Your Grow in a little while.
