Whats your fastest growth rate.
I have seen a few times that a plants maximum daily growth is about 2 inches a day. But i wonder how many people indoors get close to this and how many are below par.
Being outdoors, the strength of the sun can vary, affecting the growth. But on average i get 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" daily growth. On good sun out days i will get 2 inches.
My plants are about 10 weeks and stand about 4 feet from its soil. Im expecting close to over 9 feet by flower, but my greenhouse is only about 8 feet high :S

I don't know that I measured, but I went away for 6 days when our plants were about 2 weeks old. I gave hubby specific watering instructions, etc. On day 4 he called me and said you have to come home!!!! These plants are out of control. Needless to say that the very day that I got home, we spent about 6 or 8 hours transplanting 18 seedlings in solo cups into 18 two gallon buckets. We also found out how far one bag of soil stretches. He made an initial trip and then 2 more to garden center to get more.

Thats pretty good, did you attribute this extra growth to using DWC ?. getting good fast growth is important for indoors as you can switch to flower quicker and complete the overall growth time sooner.

In DWC I've definitely seen the plants grow at least 3 inches a day! Hydro generally gets faster vegetative growth than growing in soil, since the plants are getting their nutrients directly from the water (instead of having to seek them out in the soil).

Here's 8 days of growth (every "jump" is a night period) and it includes a tie-down session, but by the end I think it's definitely growing at least 2-3 inches a day :)

That was interesting to watch. The night time growth i witness with mine is about 1/3 of total daily growth. Its interesting.

Super cool video. And even cooler, when it was done, there were 3 more NebulaHaze videos to choose from and 3 Adam Lambert videos.......guess it was tracking my recent youtube usage. LOL

Wow, my girls have grown only 1/2" or less in over a week, they are all 3-4" tall, I thought they weren't getting taller because I just re-potted them and they were rooting.

Although i'm in coco it seems they should be doing better if DWC gets 2"-3" per day.

Yes, it does seem they should be growing faster than that. How long ago was the repotting?

I re-potted 11/26 from cups to 3g smart pots, they were 3'-4" tall and 2"-3" wide.
Presently they are 3"-4" tall and 4"-5" wide. Cotyledons were off on 12/06
2 of them got droopy (from over watering I think) and my ph was off once 4 days ago (around 5 i'm guessing)
The light and air movement is good and nutes are 10%. coco/perlite 50/50

I returned message to you. Pics would help.
I believe hydro plants grow faster ( even tho coco is hydro).
Send me your facts ( nutrients, brand of coco, perlite etc ) when you can.
:)

3.36" in one day is the most growth I've had in coco. 2+ inches a day is easy to get.
