Two quick questions. My seeds sprouted in a germination station after 36 hours and tonight will make 3 days. I will not be home until tonight. When I left around noon 1 seed looked like it's started a second set of leaves and it made two sprouts so I split them up and put into it's own pouch. This one had one small set of leaves. Another was starting a set and I just barely knocked the rest of the shell off. The last one has a really deep taproot (at least 3"), but still has most of the shell on and seems like it will drop by the time I get home.
I have two 20w (each) 2ft t12s roughly 12 inches from them and managed to lower to about 9 or 10 inches this morning. Curious how much closer I should put it? If I set it on top of the germination station lid it will be roughly 2 inches away.
Would it be better to just put the station under this light right now? If so, how far away should this light go?
Second question
2 of 3 are autos (hopefully the double was the auto duck) and curious if I should clone them? I would like to clone them? I have some great spots outside where I can fit many of these, but I know it's tough to do.
My main concern is if trying to clone them will weaken the main plant at all? If there is no risk then I might as well.
