What is your biggest question about growing cannabis?

Hey guys !
I have a question regarding bending. I have a SCRoG that is going really well, only problem is that one of the plants have a much longer main stem compared to the others.
my question is, do I dare do Bend it?

FYI I just started week 5 flowering.

They look beautiful!!! Question is, where would you bend it to? Isn't everything around it a bud site??? Great problem to have!!!!! ;-}
 
Morning Flipprs, if you got room to move your light up, I would tie the tall cola down, and let the others catch up to it.
If you don't have room to move your light up, I would bend it down even with the others, you want an even-flat canopy.

Yes there is budsites all over it, but they will adapt to the new lightangle I believe.

I can move the light up a bit, but then it would be pretty far away from the rest. I will bend it down.

The problem is that if I bend this, I believe it will snap of?
Is it really possible to bend the main stem this much and this late in life?

Hey Flipprs, if you scared, don't bend it then, I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to.
If it's your first time I'd leave it alone, but it ain't that hard to do.
Maybe someone can give you better help in a minute, I ain't that good with scrogs, but I know you can bend the crap out of mj, if your careful. Good Luck with whatever you decide.
 
i’ve heard that every strains flowering time is different. With that, if you don’t know or can’t find any information, how do you know when to start your final two week flushing?? The strain I have is wedding cake. Thanks!

You start your flush right as your trichrome start to change from clear to cloudy. I could be slightly off about that so take that as an opinion not a fact
 
Thanks for the reply, here are some shots of my trichomes. How long does it take for the trichome to change color? Week, 2-weeks??

As you already said every plant is different . It depends if it’s a Sativa or Indica. Sativas flower for 10-16 weeks and Indicas flower for about 8-10 weeks .
 
Okay, personal opinion; would you add more nitrogen and try to get some green back into these older leaves?? Thank you for taking the time to reply. The indica/sativa timeline was new information for me.
 
Honestly, I don’t follow any specific feed schedule. I just give her what she needs depending on how she looks. But here’s a photo of what I use and have available currently for nutrients.

Also a photo from last night, I have started putting the plant in the laundry room at night because the humidity is perfect and the small closet I’m using gets too high of a RH at night. I took the dryer sheets out of the laundry room to not mess up the plants smell.

The plant was from seed and she 69 days old today.

Well based on those numbers you could have another 30 days . I would really base your flush of those trics not a time frame . You could possibly feed for 2 more weeks even longer and you plant will pack on a lot of weight in its last few weeks so your not going to wanna hinder that growth by starving your plant . If your trics are cloudy I would flush if they are clear I would feed. How big is that pot btw . Looks a little small for your girl . A little late to be transplanting now but something to think about in the future . Also if you train your plant some you can get more then one top cola . Your top colas will have the best bud . When you harvest you may wanna consider only taking that top cola and letting the rest go another week . I know she is getting big and your ready to get to the fun part but patients is key . You will thank yourself later if you wait for the plant to tell you when she is ready to flush and harvest . Instead of trying to put an exact number on it . There really isn’t an exact number , every plant is different .
 
I completely understand what you’re saying. I also agree, maybe a week or two of feeding remain. The trics are still clear, I’m just starting to see some white hairs curl (<10%). Just put her to sleep and here’s a photo.
yes, the pot is only 3.7gal pot, I didn’t expect her to get this big truthfully. Noted for future grows to transplant to a bigger pot when I switch to flower. One benefit (or burden, pending how you see the glass) I’ve found with the smaller pot is that I get water more often and thus give more nutrients. I have to water every 2-3 days so she’s due tomorrow or the next day.
30 days is sad news but as you said the patients will pay off.

The best way to do it is if your plan is 3 foot tall at the end of your veg cycle transplant right before you put it in the flower To a 7 gallon pot Your plant will basically doubled in size and you want to have about 1 gallon per foot and you always go a little on the bigger side to allow it some room to really branch out. Now this number changes a little bit when you’re growing indoors because your plants don’t get as tall as they went outside but really about a 7 gallon pot is good I wouldn’t do less than 5 gallons in flour and I would never transplant at once it’s in flower always transplant at the end of your veg cycle or sooner

Also invest in some fabric pots you’ll thank yourself later for it I got mine for like a buck apiece at the Hydro store
