What is the best ceramic metal halide (LEC) on the market?

So no bulbs to change out from veg to budding, lower heat, better spectrum and draw less energy. So my other question is what about the 630w? Would you recommend one of those or just go with the 315w? The reason why I'm asking is there is one for sale for $550 right now(630w) Don't know if it would be too much light for my area that I'm using. 7x5 area. Right now I am just using 600w MH/HPS.

630 lec should walk all over a 600 hps. I wanted multiple stations for difrent strains. I also use a 400 hps in my first flower station.

Hey Herbal Warrior , I think that most Lec will run the Philips lamps, veg or argo, but I think the diff is the sun systems reflector, which I read in the specs is the sun systems hood reflects 25% more light....hope this helps dude 😀😀

It looks like Vivosun just started making an LEC ballast/hood, similar to the Sun System (vertical mount). I haven't tried it but I have 2 of their tents and 2 MH/HPS 1000w systems from them and so far it's all been great. Hmmm...This might be a future replacement for my T5's.
