Wow! Been a few years since I was on here. Lots has happened. Lots of harvests, lots of heart ache, lots of loss. F@%k c0vid. ANyways, just want to see whats going on. Going to have a good snoop through and post some pics later.

Been a while since I’ve been on and made any posts. I have a question to throw out there for everyone’s 2cents.
I had a very weird thing happen on my second last harvest.
The strain was CBD Therapy and it was vegged for just about 3 months in a scrog. Beautiful. It was 5 ft x 5 foot.
Promix HP soil amended with, Dolomites lime. 1 Tbl spoon/gallon. General organics nutrient all through veg and bud. Seemed to be a high feeder. Wasn’t seeing any deficiencies or nute burn. Using RO water ph @ 6.3-6.5. Runoff same. About week 5 the run off jumped up to 7.9. ????????????
So I flushed it with 20 gallons (5 gallon pots)ph @ 5.9 water. Ph came down to 6.9. Continued to to water with 5.9ph until the end. Did a flush of 20 gallons every second watering. Ph would not come down. 6.9 runoff. I’ve become quite good at checking the ph of everything. Even melted snow and Ph that. My ph pen has never been calibrated so many times. All the ph paper that I used.................little match sticks.
Besides the huge waste of water and all my efforts I have no idea what happened. I cannot figure this out. I’ve asked all the experts and opinions vary.
Soil. Had it in veg to long and dolomite finally broke down and caused it to spike.
Nutrient build up of salts and locked the plants out.
Water. RO filter isn’t doing its job. PPM says otherwise.
Needed to flush more. Doubt that.
The buds got to 6 weeks and then didn’t really grow past that and just matured and they were done just before 8 weeks. Was for ever to to harvest and was surprisingly smooth and really does have a good CBD-THC mix. I can’t really complain about yield. Weighed in at 15oz plus the rest that I refused to trim and was just used as needed. I was and am pleased with the quality and smoothness. Yield was fantastic under a 600w HPS. Even though nothing was bigger than a BIC lighter.
Why did the ph jump and stay up there? Has anyone had this happen to them? Last 3 harvests were as textbook as they get. I’m stumped. Any insight is greatly appreciated.
