What bug is this?

A grower sent in a few pics of this bug and I have no idea what it is; this could be a pest or it could be a beneficial insect. Admittedly, as an indoor grower my pest knowledge is a bit lacking, but maybe you know what it is!

I think it's a weevil and if so, they do eat leaves and the grubs eat the roots. Good luck!

Wow, I think you nailed it! I found a picture of a 'Fullers Rose Weevil' that looks very similar to the little guy.

Have you ever seen a 'critter' like these photos show? The 'critter' (I suspect is the shapeless white blobs or the small white filament like strands) is doing damage to the leaves. I have started applying azadirachtin in both a foliar spray and added directly to the reservoir. This has appeared to slow, if not stop, the damage.
