HELP! week 1 and leaves are turning yellow/brown

Week 1 Hyrdo grow
Using Advanced Nutrients Micro, Grow, & Bloom
Only put in half the recommended amount as I didn't want to shock my babies now that a couple days later we have brown leaves... thought the brown was caused by lack of nuts so added it back today.
There is another plant in the same grow box that is a little behind and is not showing the same yellow brown yet (which made me think lack of nuts)

First time grower...

If you play it by ear without really knowling what you're doing, you may kill your seedlings. AN nutes are really strong.

reading through the guide....still not sure what the problem is. My temp is on the high side 80-82 with hum at 47.

I’d drop the nutes to 1/4 strength and cover the net cup with a paper plate, keep your pH around 5.8-6.0. The plant will spend the next 7-10 days laying a good foundation of roots to take in water and nutrients but until then what roots it does have are a little confused as to how to do their job. It’ll grow out of it as soon as it has a better foundation of roots.

thanks for the specific advice. what does covering the net cup with a paper plate do? thinking it is to reduce the change of light getting to the water
