Waiting game

Thinned and spread her out as much as possible. Now comes the waiting game. Trichomes are already turning cloudy, 6 weeks in but no amber. This grow is ahead of flower schedule to last grow of same strain. Nebula said, and she was right, that buds really fatten up the last two weeks of harvest, so I wait... It's much easier to do when you are still smoking on last grow!

Beautiful! Love to see the gorgeous successful grows of others. And yes, it's easier to wait when you have some "medicine" still available! 😊

I cut so close last year, I had to cut off my friends.
 
To me you did everything right you have colas well defined, when you defoliate to me is because you need light hitting buds because they are blocked. My goal this grow is get rid of the under carriage to my canopy that sucks life away from bigger buds. I wish my tent had a line showing me LOL
 
Don't cut any under bud...only cut fan leaves off Damn near all of them...you will notice better little nugs on bottom in doing so

Thanks Green. Tried defoliating for the first time this grow. Defoliated a total of 6 times (1/2 a grocery bag each time) and she just exploded with each trim. I was a little timid but damn she responded strong! Live and learn... 😎
 
This was my first go at defoliating. I took some secondary colas early but see now I could have done more. You can't really see the popcorn buds under the canopy in photo. Experience is a wonderful teacher. First she gives you the test, then the lesson... 😉
 
Thx, Ins. I only use CFL and I have been pleased. Of course I keep wanting to improve with each grow but I struggle with heat even with CFL so anything stronger is not in the immediate future.
 
If you can get that from CFLs imagine what you can do with 1000w HPS. Crap, you'd have to add on to your grow room. LOL
 
I feel like Week 6+ is the hardest part of the flowering stage because your plant basically looks like it's not growing! I've learned that if you look at pictures each week you'll be able to see how much the buds have grown, and it helps motivate you to be patient :)
 
Couldn't agree more! You taught me patience last grow and I have taken weekly photos of this time. Of course having left over stash from last grow helps too! 😉
