Upside down

Hi, I decided to try and pop a white widow auto, she popped, upside down!!!!!!! I don't have any pics of this as I panicked:bawling:
I took a toothpick and dug out around the seed and placed the material I had dug out onto the emerging taproot, so the seed could stand up, the taproot came out the side so I placed it into its solo cup.....voila!!

I find at least 40 percent of my seedlings need a lil help sprouting and getting that shell off. Good job

I just drop a few drops of water on it to soften it and give it a pinch between 2 fingers and remove it

What is your medium of final plant? And does the current pot have good drainage? The toothpick arrangement reminds me of doing avocado seeds. I think...to remember..roots don't like light.

Hi tika, this little lady is in coco, solo cup and I put in extra drainage holes, I'm thinking of adapting the avacado style for the larger pots, do you think that would work?🙏

A small plant is better than a dead plant I had a few die on my so I never hesitate to assist getting the shell but the membrane is wht normally gets stuck and dosnt like to come off
