Tips to increase humidity

The humidity in my grow tent is very low as I need to have a heater in the tent as it’s cold where I live. Any suggestions on how to increase the humidity without adding a humidifier? I don’t think adding that with an electric heater in a small area would be a good idea. I’m keeping my water source in the tent and I’ve just started spraying a light mist of water on the tent walls.

Full disclosure, I’ve never tried this so take it for what it’s worth. You could try putting a crock pot filled with water in your tent, crack the lid just a little. It’ll give you heat and moisture at the same time.

This is only my first grow so I don't have much experience however , I had issues with RH. My tent was dropping as low as 10% due to its being cold and dry here in the winter, also my exhaust fan pulls a decent amount of air. I know you said you dont want to use a humidifier and a heater, I'm assuming for safety concerns? I tried spraying the walls but that only helps temporarily, hanging a wet towel was even less effective for me. I was able to maintain my humidity right over 30% with a humidifier and now that my plants have have some size to them(granted my tent is overfilled), RH in the tent went up on its own.

Thanks for the advice. Yesterday it was down to about 21%. I’ve read about the towel idea but I’m not sure on that. Today it’s up over 40% as I’ve also turned the extraction down as I think that was sucking out too much air. I’ve ordered a humidifier and new heater just in case I can’t keep it higher.

Sometimes we can't avoid the extra costs if we're really trying to grow good bud. I have both of those appliances for my grow room.
