Time to show your grow.

As anyone who knows me will say, Peyote Critical Kush is my all time favourite strain. I am currently closing my grows down through June as July is too hot to grow in for me here and so I just used some seeds up-didn`t manifold or top and flipped this lass at 10 inches. Vegged in a 7 litre airpot, transferred to a 20 and flipped. What makes this special is an issue I`ve had with water and which, with the aid of some very good friends on here who have provided much needed advice and support, have led to an epiphany which has solved several issues that I was believing to be alternative problems. So, tap water is ph 7.8 and Hard especially in terms of Calcium being filtered through limescale. RO is not an option for me. Also, I followed `advice` on quite a few organic grow sites stating compost teas cannot be ph tested accurately and that they adjust in the soil. Complete bollocks. I have found that if you don`t ph your teas you are in a world of pain. For example, some teas need at least 2 days to get going before being good and ready yet I have found that with a fungal tea it can go from from 7.8 down to 5.9 onwards without any adjustment on my part, just brewing that little bit too long. This makes it trickier and requires Ph monitoring as bacteria, etc have certain zones they grow best in. White vinegar has been very effective. This tea malarky is an ongoing process of learning for me but the buds i get are teeth rattlers, dense as stones and smell lush. Now, this lass has been fed only on compost teas-either feed or non feed-microbe or fungal-adjusted to 6-6.2. She`s due a fungal feed in 2 days and has a bit further to go but the problems with excess calcium have been restrained to acceptable levels and the lockout from ph issues addressed. I think I can do better in my next grow season so feeling quite upbeat. Thanks to everyone who took the time to answer my questions and help with encourgement and sage advice. Without your help folks, I would`ve conceded ages ago. :)

PaganRich yes I cook my outdoor teas in a 5gal bucket with a lid and strain for using on my outdoor gals. You will get plenty of bud porn as you know to fill your need to grow for few months here i'll show you :) I love your strain of kush not grown it but enjoy your descriptions. They always seem to suit you :)
 
SoOrbudgal Does that mean you think I`m muscular, got a mean right hook but bit wiffy in a manly kind of way in the personal hygiene department (the buds i get are teeth rattlers, dense as stones and smell lush)? :D Thanks for your words and how you do youir teas. I find that after a month I`m usually itching to start again...or that could just be the fleas from my old mum`s cat, hard to tell sometimes
 
Here for you on this beautiful partial sunny day are some of my plants. #1pic is several out door you won't see them all :) #2pic is my outdoor porch tent which has 3 lemon haze autoflower at 3wks (middle one is lagging even from sprout) behind them is a white widow/tangie X #3 is my seedling station and #4 is the 3 different auto flowers that sat in veg for 6wks they are doing great and yellow leaf folger container last of those to harvest still trying to hang on bless her but she's over 80days old may take her a.m. tomorrow.

😂 three finger lids and you get four fingers if you were his boy! We use to stuff old tobacco cans for lids also to old thin ones...until Paraquat came along and sprayed all the old Mexican weed crops ...then prices changed no more 3 finger lids for $10 😂
 
Def agree that the cure makes the difference! But I will be honest that I have smoked 7 days or so after dry as I didnt have any smoke left and dealers were dry. It was a lovely smoke to be honest, smooth and a good high. Very impressed and also lucky I guess.
 
They all look so lovely. I see your cat is getting in on things too there. Looks so nice outside, wish i could grow outside but i would be getting a knock on the door from the law!
What ratio do you use for your soil mix with coco and perlite? Do you use mycorzioal?
 
@Mr.Happy81 30%perlite & 70% coco/peat also bought this season some potting soil mixed from farmers co-op now for indoor and outdoor. I adjust the outdoor more with composted organic materials and llama poo or bat guano. I have a huge tub with a lid I throw all that into it and I will also toss in all the used potting soil from indoor grows I don't throw much out. The outdoor mix in a different tub with all sorts of composted greens it gets pitch fork turned and I don't add nothing to it after I start putting it into the containers no new green material.

Mr. Happy81 I mess with these tubs all year long in fall all the old soil from outdoor potted will be used in my veggie and flower beds. Used up indoor will go into outdoor tub and make new indoor as I need. Nothing is wasted hardly all gets used in some way. What else I got to do I'm retired and just love to garden. :)
 
I fully understand what Retodd is saying PaganRich and I am add to the complaint about misinformation with saying what I said here. I also find it disheartening that peeps are a 3) little Rude, 4)posting before they think and with some 5)random guess but besides going back on anxiety medication from arguing with who knows who some asshats is on an internet Forum full of trolls. I am not here to create, sustain, or conclude drama.

You can't change a person but you can change yourself and by educating yourself you can be the change. this is why I hardly ever bash on someone here, I'm may poke a little fun but we all can do that. Iv taken the a educational stance with my posting and the liars and assholes just get blocked flagged or schooled and This is why I've posted the whole grams per watt deal below, educate people on how to spot it so they become experts as well! this is my thoughts.

PaganRich, you and I have been on here for a bit, we have grown together here many of times and that's a Brotherhood in its own whether we know each other personally or not, you and I know this is not the first time some John swinging dick has paid us good folk's a visit and made life hard here, we just need to keep this place legit, show the new folks how its done, and let the haters hate from my block list. I'm guilty of not posting much lately but that is due to my own personal issues, I just don't have it in me right now to be here helping, maybe it's time to start back up.

Agree @Mrfurley, this site has become more combative in the last 3+ months... more guessing than knowledge. i dont post if i have no idea what the problem/solution is. I dont bullshit my grow..i want to grow more every time..so i state what i harvest and hope to do better next time. Used to ask for assistance but i'll just read and wing it for now. I cant post pics on a comment but i'll post my last harvest, its in jars, dried for 4 days before jarring..trimmed tight to bud,bovida pacs in all jars. i'll take some guesses.
 
and a 10 oz solo cup?? where was that during the solo cup grow? is there a picture? OR is it one of these posters that dont have a camera? curious..
 
Mr.furley I am really sorry things are not going so smooth for you at the moment mate and wish you all the very best in the coming weeks and hope you start feeling better in yourself soon. I thought what you said was fair and valid. Unfortunately, I fear this issue will remain but now Retodd has raised it as well as your thoughts above, this may act as a shot across the bow to folk inclined towards this and a more honest approach ensue. Mr.furley I do hope you’re doing better and I’d never want you to be caused any stress. homegrown I never said anything about a solo cup. I wrote this from posts I’ve seen on our pages.
