My all photo grow is finally settling in. LST'd for the last few day's and their starting out very nice. Clipped off a couple of leaves that wouldnt co-operate. Two are the same strains..the other five are different so im just trying to find out who likes what and how often. seem good right now. Have 2 living outside, and spending their evenings in the garage under 45W grow lights(about 20 hrs of light) and a couple more seedlings to give to friends. I might keep this little beauty for myself..it came in one of my seed orders but had no label. doing some weird stuff..even the cotyledon on the lighter side is way longer. Freaky lady!

I'm not a huge auto fan Ive never really gotten more than a few ounces from one ,But they sure as hell come in handy for getting you though till harvest of the photos, so I'm amazed at what others get from them

when I see a post about someone getting a huge yield from a plant I assume its wet weight ,what I do is track the wet weight total multiply by .25 then divide by 28 this will give you an idea of dry weight , One thing I do know is that I will never be able to get what the breeder says the plant will yield ,I have some white Siberian ,it says it can produce up to 1200 grams ,is that dry or wet well if you do the math it comes to 10.71 ounces that seems more likely than the 42 ounces it would be if it was 1200 dry , Ive been growing for years and I'm still trying to break the 1 lb per plant dream . Maybe if it was grown in ideal conditions that wouldn't be hard but I don't grow in Ideal conditions ,I grow in my cellar where there are outside influences , My last grow was a great grow for me I did get over 10 ounces from one plant but its twin produced 2 ounces then if I threw in the duff it was a little over a Lb . To those that do give totals of their grow ,if its your first few grows they are going to be around 1 to 2 ounces dry weight per plant this is nothing to be ashamed of . besides I like to post when I have a total shit grow cause it happens ,but by posting it honestly you might find out what you did wrong
One thing I try to remember is the we are not growing weed we are giving it the best opportunity to reach its full potential ok theirs my 2 cents lol

its hard to guess with out seeing the actual bud if its as big as the one to the right of it I would say between 25 and 40 grams

wow what a read from yesterday till today I dont have any pictures but we moved 10 plants to one of our sites then went to look for a new spot man o man did we find one took awhile but its in full sun ,off the beaten track ,and water is right next to it ,and if you were 10 feet away you would never see them (I HOPE)

I dont post weights because I dont weight it. I did not get from my autos what they should have done, I made my mistakes (can you say coffee) and I have made changes. I also went back to the trusted photos.
Before we went legal, not that long ago, a scale and weed got you time as a dealer! So I dont even have a good scale, yet. All I care about is having enuf to get to the next harvest, autos can help a short harvest! I myself find them finicky and hard to grow, needing a lot of attention..

I did it ( really should not have got enough but...) she's getting her sauna/germination. Just going with 1seed no room for another plant. Here's to a floaty future come late august I hope.

The correct dry weight of the Black Domina I grew pictured above was 137grams dry with a add 65 gram from the second (lower) harvest two weeks later not included in that picture, just a little over 200 gram total off the plant SoOrbudgal was within 10 grams of the dry weight from a blurry wet weight picture of 2/3 the plant, lol. The smoke is somewhat smooth with earthy tones and the plant produce some exciting looking bulky nugs. Toker1 Farmall purpleman also see next post.

It all comes down to grams per watt indoors. While some new LED light have been pushing over a grams a watt and Iv personal hit 1.27 grams a watt with a HLG light the fact remains that the grow space you have and light watts = yield under mostly ideal conditions, let me explain.....

I have been grown indoors with a 600 watt hps light in a 3×4×6 tent for a few years and in one start to finish grow it would never produce more then 20 ounces or 560 grams with that canopy size. This year I'm luck enough to be able to take the tent down, use just about double the the space I have, add a second 600w Hps and dedicated it to flowering only(3×7×9 or 21 sqft canopy legally I can have 32 square feet) After getting acclimated to my new space and I'm feel I have it dialed in, nothing's changed except plant size, I average roughly 8 oz or roughly 200 grams per plant now but the plant are a lot bigger given that the ample space has doubled the plants size but so has the canopy and the watts! so the yield the same per watt I'm just getting more with the same amount of plants as before in a little bit shorter amount of time

besides the fact that some of us are old school and able to eyeball three-finger lid, if you want to know if someone is popping out the truth just ask them "how many watts are you using" and none of this equivalent crap, True Watts Lady's and gentleman just like dry weight.

You all are totally getting off the subject of what I’m saying and why. Ppl have been posting bogus dry weights to make themselves look superior or something. This defeats the whole purpose of our growing. I’d say all of us professionals know how to figure wet to dry weights. I’m hitting on the point of when a manufacturer of the seed we’re buying and some jag off says they way far exceeded on dry weights then it helps no one. I grew OG Kush photos most my life and can tell you all about them. In the past 2-3 years since being on this site and making new friends and growing indoor I haven’t grown the same strain twice a yr, wether indoor or out. I don’t make a ton by growing, but I want a idea of what I’m gonna get TRUTHFULLY on a certain strain. Leafy, seedsman, and other sites will give you estimates. I enjoy hearing secrets each have to increase yields on my indoor grow.
Anyway....had to move my GSC outdoor, because I didn’t read the description of height. They no longer fit in my tent no matter how I train them. Lesson learned.

Also, answering from above, I always watch my trichomes. We all have different preferences, but I go 60-70% amber and 30-40% cloudy before I harvest. Makes it good and strongest and during the whole grow I use molasses. There’s no cough when smoking my grows. I also cure for 2 months before it goes out the door too.

If I have nothing, I throw some buds into the Ardent Nova decarboxylator and voila! They are good to go.
