Tika’sGarden of Earthly Delights

I agree. Think I am the oldest-at least female- member here...with an art and design background being subjected to the emerald triangle iconography of California...like we haven't passed the PeterMax stage yet. I like Christian Dior logos....but my cabinet is filled with strange😛

PuravidaC I put some flat insulation on the floor of my veg tent it helped alot but if you keep your pots off the floor it is not really needed

oldjarhead100 I have my pots on plastic stands that sit in saucers to catch run off so they are raise off concrete floor but my small grow room is packed with all the equipment I have so my pots are right next to the fresh air intakes. I flushed them last week and placed a 6" fan to blow on fabric pot to help dry them out quicker but thought it was acting like a swamp cooler and cooling root ball too much. Maybe I am just over thinking!!! 🤔

No problem, Tika I just thought you didn't love me anymore!! 😉 I saw the carpet under your plants and thought it may be a carpet runner. I have been doing research on root ball temps for awhile. Sometimes I get "lost in the weeds"!! Your growing skills shine brightly with every grow!! I feel so inadequate!! 🙄

oldjarhead100 thanks for your vote of confidence😊 generally I go about 8+ weeks. Currently this group is just over 2 feet. The slevens are wired (lst) but the cognacs are short and bushy (was told they would be). Pistils are beginning to form and I am still removing huge fan leaves with purple stems. My MAIN consideration for going to the tent with 12/12 is: are my T5s supplying enough light and all I can say out that is it is mostly intuition- are the fan leaf stems getting long and reachie (not the perky), do they "feel thin"? Lovin' that science????? I like to flip with more mature plants, some strains seem to arrive sooner than others. I love the worry free phase of veg: can feed day or night, no temperature or humidity issues, and I don't have to climb a ladder at 6am every morning and be on deck for the same at 6pm. I'm 100% manual as my journals explain.
Big hugs🤗

PuravidaC LOL of course I still love you...I'm just so long winded ( you might have noticed) and I have much to say in response to your last message and need to wait til I can write without distraction so I can hold my f.....g train of thought🤓

Well...getting crowded so Friday is Flip day. Tent cleaned, minor defol ( YES I do) and basic LST in place, Granddog settled in for the next 3 weeks. No wagonettes as yet and kinda glad as summer here means hot inland (triple digits) and so we get fog/am pm drip and I'm still pissed about the last bud for outside last grow at the friggin end. Will miss the veg stage per usual BUT I have some more interesting crosses heading way.

Tika those girls on the right look like they're going to be beasts. What size tent and exhaust is that?? Are you running an active intake? Grandpups 💘 you. 😃

Yes- the Mint diesel sleven looks rather sativa in structure but all 8 are indicas. Part of the intrigue about being a tester is that there isn't much published for the growing unless I can find info on the crosses. I knew the Cognac was going to be bushy but the sleven...wtf.
A Brag: I was suggested to test grow for another seed company as well but checked in with Honeysticks Genetics first-as I really didn't want to complicate my grow nor triple my posting. They said I could do whatever made me happy but didn't want to "share" me unless they had to..."You’re a secret weapon most breeders would kill for". And they are not soliciting other testers either. AND they equally appreciate my GWE family, that I have been called a GWEophile, that I stay with GWE ( that's called no brainier as I have no one to share my grow with either than the family and is my guiding g light along with my hydro kid) .
That said: it's a young company, young hard working people, polite, efficient and appreciative. Works 4 Me!!!
I did ramble on....again.
Thanks for your ear and support.
🤗😘🤗

Whoopie! My next REGULAR seeds. Photos will tell you the hybrid sativa crosses ( since it will take 10 years to correct/correct spelling check. ) Excited that Wedding Cake is tested and is a rare phenomenal) all crosses can be found online should you be interested. Happy to have gorilla cookies & Girlscout cookies & granddaddy purple in the mix...have grown them all.
Did transition feed, moved plants to tent, measured lights on canopy....will dream next harvest and germ tonight
Pipe in your ages on kingfish new topic. It's fun.
A very good day to you allegories buds🎈🤓🎈
