WELL....This week has been one of decision making in the garden.
The veg area is just chugging along fine. Topped each plant once...& will continue to top twice more. Still saving 3 extras just incase in the little pots.
Moved the wagonettes into the flower tent and grew a raging case of Thrips. Their bud structure wasn't pleasing me and figured they would have to be in there til I don't know when but coupled with Thrips and potentially ruining my veg I took all 4 down yesterday like I had a case of STDs. Saved top buds (trimmed and cut- no branch hanging) into trays and they are now isolated . The vacuum and cleaning / spraying tent down / cleaning. Harvest area was a pain but done. I simply don't "give good bug"- creaps me out. A lesson well learned for me and my situation...What grows outside STAYS outside and get a grip on my greed and gusto.

Green75 . HAPPIER NOTE: my good buddy contacted me saying he had been asked to be a test grower for Honeysticks - a new company in Oregon https://instagram.com/p/BZADN0TD1vI/ . On Instagram they are the_honeysticks. Not doing photoperiod right now Greenie offered me up as a ( an ancient by one year) recommendation . We made contact ( like that they were right on it) and I have decided to accept. I like new companies, like some unusual and limited productions with a focus on quality. Looking forward to this experience.

A friend and I were discussing my plants yesterday and we both ( he is my tester here) concurred that Jock horror by Nirvana is at the top for a fine sativa. I have grown her now (am) 5 times and she never disappoint ts me.

Wow - test grower - that's cool. Me, I'm just a tester. Do you use any foliar spray? New spray on the market 'Foliar Essence' use the spray once early and then a second time later - says it will even keep pests away.

I tend to avoid it at all costs but have in past used theMonterey spray. I seem to accept the sprays outside and resist inside
Had the option and didn't take it. What I saved will be fine for kief for cookies and gummys😊

I didn't know Tika, but it was through Carl Jung and spending time in the Jung Institute's library that I learned of Paracelsus. He is considered a Saint by the Gnostics. My well massaged ego and enthusiasm got a bit of a pin prick with the realization I will be getting regular seeds not fems. I have done regular before (swore never again) but! I will🙃 I can certainly sex by the appearance of the pre-flower pistil- my personal choice from other methods even before finding a male ball. My issue is not all individual plants (regardless of strain , genotype etc) ...Declare themselves at the same time ( male or female) and although supposedly males frow taller, leaner, faster my experience was having to service them til they did. When I got 8 true females I pulled them and whacked all the others even tho there might have been a late female that didn't offer up her pistils yet and could have been a more superior plant than the one kept. That said...How many seeds to get to get my capacity of females- no answer to that. Nor do I want to force sex by early light change and change back to veg nor do I wish to clone. With fems I always germ extra anyway (15 seeds to get 8 strongest). SO: this will indeed be Interesting not only in sexing but dealing with new / unknown strains.
