yesterday at 10:15 AM it looked like dusk here...The Thomas fire (California) smoke blocking the sun. Fire is 1.50 hr away and we went dark along with minor ash...strange day indeed

My hydro guy says I have to learn how to cull. I always do extra seeds, ..always have a problem with too many. Gave a couple of clones and one mature in 5 gal pot away. I’m good with gifting but since the plant I culled into the trash...lived on...I have some issues. Probably better if I put the extras into the Cuisinart...jeered how crass is that.. just gaked myself.
Wish my forum family were closer, with legal, with yards....

Tika I think you just pointed out the one positive thing about snow ,NO Fires holy crap I wouldn't want that close by you must be having some real panic attacks . I can,t believe whats happening out there good luck and god bless ,I hope and pray you make it though this untouched good luck

Thank you @PuriavidaC, Sonnyhad, and @Vapo69....love your company. These plant risers make the drain to waste soooo much more efficient. I love this saucer brand too..just the right size and sooo durable..same saucers I started with.
Have any of you ever taken an outdoor plant in early bloom and put it into the flower cycle inside. Is it going to totally freak out getting more light for longer periods and warmer temps? I think I can only fit 2 into the 5x 9. Would need to do some defol .
I admit to my (as usual) eagerness to be off the rigid manual tent schedule and supervision(and electricity costs)...but being the curious and greedy B that I am.....
Am wondering. Thoughts?

Some kid with fireworks lit the Columbia gorge on fire Labor Day weekend. I was in eastern Washington at the time. Took 84 back home we made it through a couple hours before they closed the highway. Quite the sight driving down an interstate with flames shooting out of the trees on the side of the road. Ash falling like snow on your cars. Those fires are crazy.
