I have never been extremely political. I do my 'civic duty' and vote, but most times I'm fine with whoever wins. This time was different. And in the end, I have bigger fish to fry, like getting my husband his medical marijuana card and getting him weaned off those fucking opiates!!!

i was very confused by this. can you maybe explain a little what you mean by that?
i think i maybe understand this...do you mean that since you don't vote then you are "outside the process" and if you're outside the process, you're not "responsible" for what comes from the process...?

well, um that was not my approach, just the opposite actually. check paragraphs 2.3.4 ^^^ mostly 2 & 3 is where i was really trying to have a productive conversation in hopes of maybe getting someone (WHO MAY NOT KNOW) to understand EXACTLY what they have committed themselves too when they say stuff like "don't make this political." that is all.

One thing I love about this forum is the freedom to express ourselves. When someone says, we can't talk about anything but cannabis, I start to feel straight-jacketed, because cannabis is associated with/linked to so many other issues...
There have already been various threads on this forum about what would happen re: cannabis after the election. This isn't the first. When Nebula starts deleting posts, I will abide by her gentle hints.
For me, if it's ONLY about pot, then it reminds me of all those hippies I started to avoid in the early 70s because all they could talk about were drugs.

One of my guys called me this morning...his wife..who he just married in September passed away this morning at 6 am. It devastated me...to think of him and his family...the sudden loss...she went in for outpatient surgery Friday afternoon....Sunday went in for severe blood clots in her lungs and died this morning....this has affected me greatly ....
so much other stuff to worry about than who is president
So the issue of politics is a crap issue....
