What is s good jeweler loupe or any loupe to see the thricombs really good. I’m close to harvest and really need a good one I have one that 60x but would like a better one. Any recommendations on a good one?
A few odd options: A microscope or telescope ocular flipped around backwards can work well, as can an old-fashioned 8x photographic slide viewing loupe put in front of a cell phone camera.
60x is really powerful for handheld, but with any hand magnifier, something to steady your hand really helps a lot (just about a requirement for me). Good light is important too. Morning sunlight coming in from the side works well--easier outside than in a tent, thought.
I like the little white one on GWE. It has a led diode on it to light up what you are looking at. Works better in the dark for me. I have been looking at a USB microscope lately....just for shits and grins really
I got a very helpful 25X binocular eye glass set on Amazon for $12. Lights on both sides, but the very nice part is either side can flip up, so you only look through one eye. Hands free.
> That's awsome i got some big 2 inch oculars for my celestron they work really well. thanks for the tip
Here's another tip: Be careful not to get sticky resin on the lens of your fancy Celestron eyepiece!
U guys are talking my language now that that 20 inch is amazing I only have a 11 inch reflector. I love space I spend alot of time photo graphing the moon I am a little obsessed.
