The 2024 eclipse grow

The Surricane I have is from In-house genetics, but Ethos is always good gear. and I highly recommend North Atlantic Seed Company for seeds.

That's how the Mandarin Zkittlez looked like from Ethos Genetics. I love their stuff! I have Grape Balls of Fire seeds waiting for the Fall grow.

So far I have not grown anything with Zkittles in the name, not sure why but it bugs me for some reason. LOL

I got the seeds because I was getting Mandarin Zkittlez from the dispensary and I loved it. Move grew so well and was so frosty. You touched a leaf and your fingers would smell like straight up oranges. After curing, all the orange terps just vanished. It tasted like berries....blackberry-ish. IDK how that happened. Could just be a pheno

Because at least 50% of terps are lost even with an absolutely perfect dry. The drying process destroys them unfortunately.

Day 21 veg

All are doing well. Time for topping.

Day 26 veg

The tent was getting crowded, time for a break up.

And of course I couldn't leave them alone. I kept 4 node sets, 1-4 from the main stem, so I had 8 main branches to extend out and tie to the ring. Some of them weren't ready for the 4th set so they will grow out a bit first. The primary fan leaves from node 1, 2, 3, were removed and the node 4 leaves were left in place to feed the plant during recovery. In a few days when the node 4 shoots are bigger those fans will be removed also. I am doing this technique due to the fact that I can not spend as much time on these as I usually do. So instead of a true manifold, I am doing a quad-line is what I think it is called. Still using the wire ties and hoops. I think it will grow out well.

And the autos. I used the same technique

It kind of looks like I beat them with a broom, I like it that way! In a few days this will all grow out and start exploding.

They look great and no doubt will explode when you flip them. Great looking tent too.

Day 29 veg

After 4 days of recovery from the last binding, time for some more. The job was nearly finished. All branches except for the node 4 branches have been tied down close to the ring. All the node 4 primary leaves have been removed. Maybe 1-2 more weeks of veg. This is going much faster than the traditional manifolding I usually do. They are drinking 1.7L per day.

One of the branches was fragile, I hardly touched it and this happened. I taped it up but I'm not sure this one is going to make it.

How is the saying if u want to make something great, u need to break a few things? If one does not try and practice, one will not be able to pull off moves like this. The plant was too tall, I didn't want to cut it back. I call it the U-turn. I guess I did learn something tying plants up in knots. https://forum.growweedeasy.com/forum/growing-community/574336-why-why-knot-because-i-could
