I'd like to take a quick minute to thank all you veterans on here for the service you provided to this country!! Without your service, our country would not be in the same position we are in now! And freedom is sweet! Sometimes I feel like veterans don't get told often enough how much their service and dedication has helped, and you wouldn't see me out there, so the respect level is great!

Again, Thank you all so much, and I hope you all have a wonderful day! With me working at a bank, they observe this holiday, so I'll be smoking one for those who've put in the time and even their lives..

Thank you for posting this! I totally agree we have troops dyeing for us and the news cares a bout some pointless actor. Its messed up. Thank u all who served. I keep looking for excuses to give this old vet with cancer in my building free bud without telling him I have it or how I get it!! So thank u all and wattze for this!

Thanks for posting this. I was just about to do the same. Im a 22 year vet and every time i show my ID card to get some sort of discount, they always say "thanks for your service". i always thank them for their tax dollars. Lol.
Ive been retired from the Navy for 35 years and knowing that check is coming in every month is very comforting.
Its good to see the attitude of the public has hanged for the better towards Vets and the people now serving.

Thanks to all of you. This day always brings a tear to my eye, remembering my fellow ship mates that were lost during my career. Some were very close and others were not but all gave their lives for this country amd i miss them all.

Well done, I only did 4 yrs. 3 mo. 12 days and 15 hrs. but who's counting. I started out thinking I would make a career, I couldn't take it. Got my honorable and got out. I was an engineman ( now a discontinued rate) on a submarine.
