my question is how do you guys test your dwc ph levels? Do you guys use a ph pen or the drop kit which you match colors to read the ph level? Which one do you guys feel is more accurate for dwc and even in soil?? Which is worth keeping??

I use the pen daily.

If the PH suddenly stays steady or seems like an odd number I double check with Drops.

About once a month I double check with both just to keep an eye on the pen's accuracy.

I do the same as GanjaGed. I have a $80 pen that I use daily but if I ever have any doubts whatsoever, I break out the drops as a back up / confirmation.

I have calibration fluids for the pen that I use weekly but it's still nice having the drops on hand if just for the peace of mind.

I use the Apera PC60 pen

checks pH, temp, salinity, EC, TDS. Same thing but it gives all the readings.

Literally the single best purchase I made for growing.

I still have the drops but never use them

I use the drops and go for pea green,In our tap water in Omaha it takes 1 tsp lemon juice concentrate to bring it down from blue.

I've always used an eco tester ph2 pen, always very accurate when calibrated properly. I also use the drops as a back up and occasionally as a double check if I think it's not reading accurately.
