How many 3 gal and 5 gal fabric pots for an autoflower grow can I comfortably fit into a Mars Hydro 2 x 4 x 6 grow tent.
 
Hey Novice, don't overlook the fact that plants need and will fill space beyond the edge of the pot so it's not a question of how many pots but how many plants will fill it up. In that size probably 2 maybe 3 will get crowded especially if you want to spread them a little to open up the middle. With no training they may out grow your height. Here are 3 autos in 3.5 gal buckets in a 2X4X6. Imagine a 5 gal bucket with like 6" cut off the bottom.

That tent is not wide and you have to know how to train LST or manifold and autos if your inexperienced know nothing never grew is not for the timid grower. I would do 1 photo plant and learn from it.
 
I have an HLG-300L R Spec in my 2’ x 4’ x 6’ Mars Hydro tent with AC Infinity 6” exhaust fan and charcoal filter, one 6” oscillating pole fan. I was hoping to fit at least four 3gallon or 5gallon fabric pots to do side by side comparisons using Kind Soil and Nature’s Living Soil for 420 Fast Buds Purple Lemonade and Seedsman Blueberry. I will use tap water filtered with a Boogie Blue Plus, which comes out at 7.3 pH. Hoping to not need to adjust pH but if necessary will use citric acid crystals or fresh squeezed lemon juice to adjust to 6.5 pH.
Any comments or suggestions on above process will be appreciated.

I'm a little different. I only use 1 gallon smart pots for my autos, 'cause I veg photos in the same tent. I've got two 100+ day old photos filling half. I can fit maybe five Autos to fill it up. Zero training. This is how my last Auto harvest turned out. They are my largest Autos to date.

I have a 2 x 5 x 8 closet. I have a 5 gallon bag in there right now (plus a couple of autos finishing). I just took a look, I can't see how you could manage four 5 gal bags in your tent.
 
I can't tell how many cuz I don't have a tent !! A hot spell next week so my autoBuck project is now on hold.
 
I just don't like folks on their first grow to get discouraged from to many in small space. It takes more work and low confidence in what you do to keep them alive. It's just easier with 1 good healthy photo. Hey Farmbuck we got a cooler week here for the next several days maybe a week under 90f. Today it's cool mid 70s f really nice.
 
Farmbuck autoBuck ;) Soon we'll be complaining about the cold weather. Do you have the photos started? I got the light up & WT in the closet, up to 75% now, temps are OK with the closet doors closed. I might have had to put two bottles of frozen water in there mid-day today but that's OK. She is settling into her bag, hopefully that will go well, I put her in there Sunday night.
 
Nope not yet But I'm not sure to start some Sativa photo with this grow. I may not have time Puglover1 if I'm going back to Yucatan this winter so I might as well stick with autos.
 
Nice weather you're having western friend. Next week they say it will get cooler so maybe at the beginning of September. I gonna try with 9 GG#4 and 9 Amnesia Haze.
