Ten year plan finally done.

I'm sorry I didn't answer the 'time in stretch question'. They have been in stretch about a week, and grown about ten (10) inches. the vertical Cola stalks are still smaller than a toothpick and average about three (3) inches. I am unfamiliar with the strains, Seriously Happy, and Critical Mass, plus a stunted wild grown, Midwest bag seed. I looked around on the web, they seem to be Medium sized, Heavy Producers, High THC, unmentioned CBD.
I am going to go to the thin light, I'm probably still screwed. What would you do if you ran out of tent height?

I would be LSTing on a curve (never have before tho) your 2x4 is 6 feet tall??
If you can bend some do it after you feed where branches are a bit more flexible. I anymore having a hard time imagining the inside of your tent w plants...wanna do a photo?
 
Three (3) X three (3) X six (6) feet.
LST on the curve is less scary than super cropping. I have never done either, but when comes down to it, I will try bending, super cropping is really scary for me. But rather than burn it, I'll give super crop a try, if it breaks I'll try to clone it.
 
Sorry, I forgot pictures. The distance to the light is eighteen (18) inches. grew another inch in twenty four (24) hours.

Dude I did it out of desperation, it's not that bad, keep some duct tape handy and loosen the stem up before.........just an idea but definitely an option if things get bad dude 😁
 
My light is at the top of the tent. Nineteen (19) inches to top of plants. It's going to work out. I will get Bud, I will use your suggestions and what ever I can come up with, I'll just optimize the plants the best I can, to get the most Bud. These free plants have given me the opportunity to try things I never would otherwise.
 
I took out the adjusting light distance mechanism, hung the light from the tent rafters.

they grow quick. the grow I just finished Sometimes there was growth of 2"+ a day
 
Charlie, plants are looking great but I have a question regarding the way your light is hung. It looks to me like the light is hanging from the lower cross members. My tent instructions specify to hang from the top supports, not the bottom. It makes sense that the top supports are for load bearing. I may be totally wrong as I'm no expert and maybe your tent is designed for lights to hang from the bottom cross members. Just check it out to be sure.
 
Thanks, growing has improved a lot since I started growing in the seventy's (70)'s. I farmed outside, guerrilla grows and one truly pitiful closet grow. I learned a lot from GWE.
 
No instruction from tent MFG., I joined the top supports with ty-wraps. So all three support light, no sagging or bowing of supports, never argue with success. No harm no foul.
