Strain Reviews

One of my current faves is Green House Seed Co Super Lemon Haze. I only grew one but got a winner. She produced despite mites and delivered about 3 oz of the nicest-formed buds I've had. The high is quite buzzy and perfect for an afternoon smoke. The smell of the pheno I got is more sour lemon than the lemon candy she is more famous for.

Going2fast Back when I grew them you could only get Wedding Cake in clones. Same with GG4. There was a local outlet not far from where live that had very healthy clone stock.

This is the strain I call RP-1. The official lineage is unknown. It was supposed to be chocholope but it is not. It smelled like diesel when it was alive, smells like pine sol and citrus when cured, so much so that I would probably turn it down if offered to me because it smells like there is cleaner all over it. It is so far my favorite of all time. I was lucky enough to get 5 seeds out of the mother that got crossed with a bag seed plant called purple stem. I started one this year, and if things go well I hope to propagate it with itself.

Snowcaine v2 from 20/20 Mendocino.
Advertised at 30+% they didn't lie. As with all my outdoors last summer I got a late start. Didn't hit soil till early June. She got full sun from dawn till dusk. Did great but started starving for calcium mid flower. They are in ground in prepared soil so I usually just let them ride. got 7 oz of fairly dense nugs off of her. Didn't do the heavy manicure due to

the sugar leaves being Soo coated. This strain I believe is 70%sativa. Smells like dank skunk and citrus after 5 months cure and one bong hit will floor you. I always do a taste test before my reviews and I ain't getting out of this chair for a while lol. Also advertised as being mold resistant. I did find a small amount on a few lower nugs but overall I would say she is.

Bloody skunk from sweet seeds.
this was my first auto and first indoor grow. Will call them a success even though they had pH issues mid flower. Pheno 1 was tight noded but foxtailly. Purple and green calyxes. She smelled like lavender and had a floral taste but was the most potent of the 3. Pheno two was the grape candy gem. Grew fairly normal and the buds and sugars were solid purple. Tastes Soo sweet.
Pheno 3 was a mutation.never had a normal looking leaf but I let her run and she gave me 3oz of golf ball nug's. She was light on smell. Faint citrus.
all three had that hybrid buzz. Starts off behind the eyes and ends in your limbs.

I have been working with 3 strains the past few year. Thai Stick, Strawberry Cough, Cotton Candy Kush which have been crossed. To be honest I am tired of the S.C genetics, however the C.C.K cross was the smoothest and had the most frosting. See the pic.

The beans came from MNSL and have been rock solid, especially the crossed seeds. My wife plants seeds in the garden soil and every year her seeds come up on there own no real pampering, and to top it off, she always gets females but there is not enough time to finish these strains out side.

Mag Landrace seeds are available at Pacific seeds. Purple indica, I grew them from dispo bag seeds, 14 months later, from 3 plants, still have 3-4 jars left. My cat eats leaves from growing plants, he never bothered the Mag plants, he just stole my twisty ties to play with. Last night I broke up part of a nice Mag bud on my little tray, the cat was going to eat the whole pile, he's done it before, but he won't eat other dried weed strains.

G13 Haze. Barney's farm.
lucked into a nice pineapple pheno. Barney's has been hit and miss for me but this one was nice. So nice I'm growing it again this summer. Trying their laughing Buddha too. More on that later.
Plant got a late start but had no problems with high humidity. Wasnt that hungry. Had nice thin sativa leaves. This one had the double leaf mutation. Counted 18 leaflets on one. Nice frosty bud. A little leafy but turned out to be very smooth. My go to daytime strain. But it can be overwhelming if you overindulge. Nice pineapple smell and taste. Good joint material.

Slh is on my list.

Scarlet Sunset.
This strain is from a poor lost soul. The CEO of Gas Reaper genetics had a meltdown of epic proportions. I hope he gets the help he needs.
this is black cherry punch x erie sunset. Very frosty and has some nice red coloring in the buds but what I was after was that classic cherry cough drop smell and taste I remember from the og black cherry punch. It's an F1 but I hit it on the first bean. And not too potent. Nice relaxing evening social smoke. Got the boys over for the game, going bowling or to the driving range. Very active for a 50/50.
The cherry couch drop smell is dominate as is the taste. Has to be experienced. A few banks have these at a discount right now like north Atlantic seed company and Hembra. Mine was in too big a planter for her genetics. 5 gallon I think would be optimal for her.

Farmbuck I saved my best buds for last, figured if I got a tolerance the bud I smoked would be stronger as I worked my way through. I broke up a nicer bud, not the best, the other night. It was impressive, trichs, color, density. It looked like dispo bud inside, just not trimmed as close. I also wanted to find someone to press some so I saved better buds. The two jars in hiding were a wonderful, needed surprise.

Humboldt IS up and running, as I've bought seeds from them twice this year. Speaking of that, I can highly recommend their Strawberry Cheesecake. It was my first ever grow, and even though I made some mistakes that hurt my bud quality (severe light interruption during 12-hour dark periods), it was easily one of the best I've smoked.

My fav for all around was probably Mephisto Sour Stomper, and Twenty20 Whiskey Zulu. Both big fat autos with amazing terps and effects. Only have one pic stored and it is of the ss main cola

Ace seeds Killer A5 Haze fem photo. Massive yield, best high by far of any cultivar that I've grown. Nice sativa vibes, high lasts a long time, wonderful flavor, and not harsh. Right up there with the A5 is Ace Seeds Honduras x Panama fem photo. Another sativa that produced a massive harvest with similar affects of the A5. Really good weed. I also really like Super Lemon Haze auto from ILGM.

I'm growing a couple of Ace seeds Purple Haze/Malawi. I was not prepared for the massive stretch these plants have the first time around. They grew into and past the light. They were so out of control I chopped them. But not this time. I like Ace seeds genetics. With good grow conditions their seeds/plants produce hardy stalks, stems, and roots.
