Strain Reviews

Please share yours. I would like some good ol home grown reviews. Commercial strains or your own creation. I'll start with my new favorite.
Mango Smile from Mephisto. 85/15 sativa. She grew very lanky and open just like the description said. Had trouble corralling her. Doesn't like a lot of nitrogen but loves intense light. Smells were all over the place during early flower. Finally settled from nasty to sweet at chop. After 1 month cure it's a ripe tropical fruit smell and taste. Very strong. One hit let's go for a bike ride. Two hits what were we going to do? Three hits forget about it.

I have a lot of cup winning strains that are almost always winners (with an occasional runt), from breeders like Royal Queen Seeds, Reserva Privada ($$$), Dinafem, etc. I love hybrids: the best of both worlds. Most seed sellers list whether seeds are cup winners.

madman you could do 3 of these in a 4x4. I'm not a fan of topping autos as it can stunt them so I just pull the main stem down starting at 10 or so days old and keep it and the side shoots at the same height or at least try to. I did supercrop several branches during early flower to keep them even. That being said this strain may handle topping better than some due to her explosive growth. She grows nice and open so leaf removal was dead minimum. Gets real smelly towards the end so a good carbon filter is a must.

next up Black Cream from sweet seeds. 90% indica. this one was somewhat of a mutant. stems were lanky but developed golf ball sized nugs just in the ends of the stems. she had some nice purple coloring at the end and smells like cream soda. this certain pheno wasn't too finicky but needed support the last half of flowering. netflix and chill weed for sure but not too overpowering nice creamy inhale and exhale. Very tight buds.

White Tahoe Cookies - 70/30 Indica dominant by DrSeeds; heavy hitter with high THC but the taste and smell is something to be desired, really sweet. I don't know about you guys, but a glass of wine taste like a glass of wine; but when it comes to marijuana; I can taste and smell strains and tell you their names... I don't drink:hard-laugh:

Who's version crucial? I've got some Bessie cake beans from that asshole gas reaper. Wedding cake x south side bessie. Before he imploded.

Speaking of Dinafem. Humboldt Seed Org I see is back up and running. North Atlantic Seed co are carrying their beans. Hope they make it back up.

Going2fast HSO is back up and running? I don't think so; their site says they still can't process orders, and supplies are very low at seed banks. Chemdawg is one of my favorites; I have a couple left, but I'm waiting for HSO to come back. Atlantic is selling Humboldt seed COMPANY--not the same as HSO.

If y'all know me y'all like not again. Yes again. Why again? Well let me tell you my fellow growmies. Been doing this for a while. Grown some stank and grown some shit. But I've never grown anything like her especially being an auto. She was dark green and medium leafed but not big indica leaves more afghan 5 and 7 fingered. And she just got on with it. When I was having ph issues with sour stomper and forum stomper she shrugged it off. From the time the pistols started stacking she started frosting up. And up. And up. Finished at 75ish days. After cure has a sweet cookie dough smell and taste and is soooo potent. Like more than one hit and Dorothy is not in Kansas anymore potent. I suggest anyone who wants to try an auto put this one on the list. Forgiving, does well in soil, loves intense light. Advertised 100%sativa.
happened on to 5 pack of fem freakshow from North Atlantic Seed Company last year for 60$ I believe.got a real late start on her. Started it in a 1/2 gallon pot then planted her about 16" above pond level. She absolutely loved high heat and humidity. Weirdest looking bud growth I've ever seen. Got full sun from dawn till dusk. Ended up with about 3oz of nice tight nugs. During cure developed a pineapple mint smell. Taste was similar I think unfortunately I had to trash most of the bud due to forgetting to burp the jars and bud still too moist. Threw all but 1/2oz in the compost heap. Buzz was nice and sativa. Not too potent but just right. Says it tests at 16%. I'd say that's about right. Very energetic buzz. Got me doing yardwork every time I would partake. Can't wait to grow her again. Recommended if you like sativa effects and live in a humid environment.
