Starting to think about my next grow, want input

Someone, I can't remember who, said light when drying was not that important, but that light once you put the buds into the jars to cure was, so he buys really cool black airtight canisters to put his buds in while they are curing and burps them every few days. I just don't want to get this far and eff something up by letting my curing buds get light! I'd be pissed!

Iv been cureing in clear jars for ever and never had any issue. Ull want a small rh meter to put in ur jars while cureing also b62 packs really help when that time comes.

The drying process u dnt want any light or minimum light because the plant is still alive but after its dry the plant doesnt care about light thats why u can keep cured weed anywhere and its fine.

Here are some pics of the buds off the top half of the big plant. The small buds got caught up in the process. There are still quite a few small buds left on the plant, and will hopefully grow larger. I hope they come out.
The total weight of these buds is 1.39 oz wet. So much more than the measly .25 oz I got off the entire plant last grow! It's no 16 oz but it's a start and next grow will be bigger and better!!
I wish I could get closer pics so you can see the shimmer of the trichs but hey, finally pics. The bud in my hand is the bud beside the pen. I'm proud of myself, and still have more to go. I can't wait til I can imbibe and enjoy.

Bluecanoe,
I have been wait to see a picture and to say to you, congratulations Harvester! Good job, your buds look really good and I can not express how happy I am for your success.
Mr.F

I'm as happy as I can be for you Blue, we told you ,you would do alot better this time, and those are real pretty too.You did a great job , and if they were mine, I would keep em in a dark place just to be safe, I can't wait for you to start your next grow.
Those buds , I hope they prove to be great medicine for you and your hubby.
Congratulations Blue, good job.

D.A.A.S, I have them in a box, it's a rigged system, newspaper on the bottom to keep anything from falling through, a cookie cooling rack to keep it off the paper and a grease splatter screen on top of the cooling rack so the buds can get ventilation. I poked holes in the box on all sides. It's in the grow room, that's cool and dark, I have blackout shades in that room and they are nowhere near the grow tent. I'm proud of myself and glad that I at least go a harvest, the big bud weighs 1/2 oz by itself!! The other plant still has to mature and it's covered in buds, plus the remaining buds on the plant I partially harvested. Psyched I am!!
Thank you so much for your support, and you too Mr. F!! Couldn't have done it without you.

I am almost ready to harvest the late bloomer. She's got some amber trichomes an there is actually a drop of resin on the end of a sugar leaf! I wish I had a camera to do it justice. My heart is happy.
Sunday is day 80 from popping out of the soil and I have no clue what strain this is. It's definitely different from the first plant. Most of that got dried prematurely and used. It was wonderful. Even my sister who says she hasn't felt anything since the 70's was happy. It was so smooth, that I haven't been able to use papers or a pipe in several years or I'd cough myself into a fit. I can inhale this without coughing. Smooth......perfect.
I can start getting ready for the next grow. I've figured that I can't afford to go 5 gallon pots and Kindsoil this time around, I'll just keep the same set up I used this last time, except I might add another cfl and make it larger so the plants have elbow room. I'll probably top and train the next ones, these were cage free, no trimming or training.
I just want a perpetual grow and if I wait around buying this here and that there, it'll be almost spring and I could have another grow under my belt and medicine in my jars. So once I figure out Bitcoin, I think I almost understand it, and figure out which seeds I want to try, then I'll be back germinating and growing. And if I get a few freebies from Seedsman, then I will be able to afford KindSoil for the next grow cause I won't have to buy seeds! Baby steps.
This is good for my soul. It gives me something to look forward to and something to do that makes me happy, gives me relief and excites me for the first time in a long time. That could come from the adrenaline rush knowing that I am very close to Jefferson Beauregard Sessions' home state! It's a huge F U!!

Current grow:
2-auto/fem mystery seeds
1-300w led
1-small led (not sure of wattage)
1-60w cfl
floor fan, ceiling fan
compost/perlite
temp stays around 75-80
tent approx 2.5x3x4

OldJarHead, I've had to use a vaporizer for a few years because everything was so harsh it made me cough until my arms went numb! And made the whole experience unpleasant. This stuff I've grown is smoother than smooth. My brother-in-law even noticed that it didn't make him cough and he coughs every time. I just wish I knew what the strain was. We've been using a pipe and that works, I'll have to look when we go to Nashville for OCB papers, they have nothing down here! I might be able to find some Tops or Bugler papers that old men roll their own tobacco in.
We're heading to Nashville tomorrow and if I have time to stop I'll see if I can find OCB papers. Thanks for the information.

I harvested my last plant from this grow today. I got 5.5 oz wet. I'm psyched to say the least. I got right at 7 oz from the entire grow and that's 6.75 oz more than the last harvest!! LOL!
There's nothing in the grow tent right now, so I put it all on racks and in the tent with no light, and a small fan circulating inside the tent but not on the flowers, along with the ceiling fan. I'm impressed, and very proud of myself. I am going to order some seeds this weekend and hopefully start a new grow soon.
I've needed this sense of accomplishment. I didn't take pictures, but the largest cola weighed .93 oz! The next grow will be better and I'm hoping for a new camera to be able to share the fruits of my labors with you all. I couldn't have done it without you!

Bluecanoe, Iam truly happy for you and your harvested, congratulations on your harvest. This is something to be proud of because in the end after your last grow, you were more determined and it payed off, one hell of a job.
Mr.F

Hey Blue, I'm jumping with joy , I am so proud of you.
We kept telling you after your first plant fizzled out that you would do great on your next grow and you proved it. What an awesome job ,young lady.
It just keeps getting better an better, the more you grow.
That KindSoil blew my mind with how easy it was, your gonna love the KindSoil, just PH water and don't water till runoff, now that's easy ain't it.
I hope you enjoy your harvest to the fullest. Later.
