So what causes a female plant to have a few seeds and when

I've recently gotten some dispensary out of town sour D and OG kush- lets say- and these are all female- I mean looking at the buds, etc.. .no seeds- nice smelly tasty stuff.

I ground up a few buds earlier from the OG I think- after reading the do you roll or glass thread- and while rolling up a doobie, I found a bag seed that found its way alive through the grinder- so I have a 'seed' - hurray for me- which is cool- can toss in the bean bank-

How does this happen though?

No way to tell for sure. Could be from a hermie, a male's pollen, etc. Did you check the rest of the bag?

In my recent Grow (Master kush, Misty kush, Sour Diesel and Super skunk one Super skunk produced seeds. ( grew 2 of each) The super skunk seeds were a gift from a friend who got them as freebies from Bergman. I am thinking they were free hermies as they were feminized. No other plant produced seeds.
I had no light/ heat conditions , no nanners, etc.)
just a thought on free feminized seeds and don't know if the strain tends to do that. I also had seeds from Bergmans Gold leaf.
