Small Yield, POTENT Smoke!

I'm far from having all this figured out, and maybe it's the strain (black cherry punch), maybe just lucky, but this little clone produced smoke as good or better than her mom. I knew I wouldn't yield much from this little girl, but this stuff will take you DOWN! I remember somebody else making the comment about a little plant with minimal yield that produced very potent buds. Do ya'll think there is a correlation to plant size/yield and potency?

There is no real correlation between large and small plants. However the main colas especially the tops tend to be far higher in THC and Cannaboids. A small plant will pretty much be all tops higher in thc than the bottom buds of a large plant. Does that make sense?

Really great news purpleman I have 2 black cherry punch from Paul at newguy420 seeds. I sure could use some well done indica right now. Both of those and a burnt cookie of his. Had 2 burnt cookie they are reg. photo and 1 I just culled because he showed balls so got 2 out of 3 female of his burnt cookie. I really hated tossing that one male sure was a fine growing plant. I'm getting ready to take some clones off these today they are getting into the preflower stage I can smell it :wink:

yeah, makes perfect sense. Nothing going on down there now, but I've got 5 seeds left and I'm gonna try to germinate them all next week. I'll be making the switch to coco and smart pots, so I'm hoping for better yields.
