Small Tent, Perpetual Monthly Harvest, Auto-Flower Grow Journal (canna, coco, LED)

Thanks Rockman, I'll do some scopes throughout the week but if possible I'd like to keep feeding her one more week before flush. Hopefully I'll garner a bit more weight that way.

I do hope the Mystic yields and those buds fatten up nice. I could do with a haul :)

What a rush!!! Great looking buds!
i support trichome cloudy for testing doneness too ( since all my pistils don't brown out anyway and sometimes not even a majority).
As GWE said..the harvest window has more time in it than we think BUT in same breath I have found in my last 2 grows- they finished a week early according to breeder recommendation under the. LEDS.
so..it really is loupe city for those getting close.
the Canna feed chart still puzzles me in the description for when to change phases and how many weeks they say the phase is.

beautiful up date and pictures and plants !!!!!

Thanks Tika,

Yeah it's tough working out the canna stages, but I think I'm beginning to develop an intuition. I think the Generative II/p/k week is the 'lynch pin' so I'm trying to experiment around with that and take special note of how the buds look when I switch to that cycle ... give me another 5 years and I'll have my eye dialed in right proper ;)

Hey Vapo, I take the start of that week as somewhere in between flowering stretch and bud fattening. Depending on the speed of your plant I'd watch for the stretch to slow, and the plant to start focusing on fattening buds. For a fast strain like Bubblelicous my intuition is that you wanna go straight into Gen II at that point. With the slower Mystic strain my stretch finished last week and fattening has started but I think it'll be another week before I switch the Mystic to Gen II.

Gen III really drops the nutes down to starter plant levels. I was late on giving Gen II to my Bubble and I think and she got quite upset, but now she's dropped back to the low nute Gen II she's stabilized for her last few weeks. Hopefully I can pull off a smoother transition through the three generative stages with the Mystic.

Trich watching on the Bubble, definitely clouding up in only a few days. She looks happier on the lesser nutes and is perhaps adding some weight (fingers crossed). Earlier pics are top buds, later pics lower buds.

Lots of happy trichomes there! 😊 Good luck on your harvesting decision. I'm currently looking close at my Cheesey, and trying to decide on when to reap. I would like to hit peak THC without much conversion to CBN. Listening to hear her whisper "I'm ready now...take me!" 😘

Yes ... "...with your super sharp scissors..." no less ;)

Are you planning to flush for a week. I skipped a few flush days on my last photo grow and regretted it so I want to do a full week of flush

No flushing for my girl...she's growing in Kind organic soil, and has only used the nutrients she needs when she needed them. In fact I just harvested her bottom half, which was ready. The upper colas still have a few more days. She's a very productive girl! 😊

Ahh, of course, I wanna try the hot soil thing some time.

That's interesting that your lower colas are ready before the upper ones, seems counter-intuitive one would imagine the colas closer to the light would be ready sooner. Maybe it's more about the size of the colas...

It is interesting about the lower colas maturing more quickly....surprised me when I first noticed. In the case of my Cheesey, I think that it is due to the fact that the four main arms that were created when I topped at the second node grew out first, but stayed lower. These are the ones harvested. Also too, I use 8 CFL fixtures to surround the entire plant...including the lower side branches. So the first to grow became the first to go! 😉

Trich watching update, the Bubble is really getting there now, I think feed after next is flush start :)
