Silica when and how much?

I go by my bottles instructions.

AN for example is weeks 1 - 6 of flower. I do a full dose as well I dont cut it in half.

Entire grow 25-75 PPM Si and Ideal is 50. Silicates are relatively insoluble so lower rates of use vs ligher rates is advised

Not to start an argument but you may want to look up why you dont use silica after week 6 of flower.

If used after week 6 you will taste it in your final product. you cannot flush it to get rid of it either.

I use Armor Si(10% silica) @ 1ml/gallon. There are only 2 instances during my grow when I stop using it.

2 weeks before taking clones- I have found that my cuttings take longer to root if I’m feeding silica at the time the cuttings are taken.

Flowering stretch is finished- if I stop feeding silica before the stretch has finish I always get floppy colas that need to be supported. When I feed silica through stretch the colas require no additional support.

+1 for bottle instructions. With my schedule I do a feed, water, water regimen. The first water day, I throw in the silicate. I don't add it to the feed day because the pH is really low compared to other nutes and tends to solidify when I add to my feed. I'm also in coco and that makes a bit of a difference of when you can use it with your water schedule.
