Too much perlite or not buried deep enough.... which do y'all think?

Well my friend, gotta lotta perlite but that keeps it airy. So I’ll say not planted deeply enough. Do you think the root pushed itself up against the soil?

i dont think its too much perlite, unless the root ran into one of the bigger pieces of perlite and decided to push up instead of down. OR it could be just a weird start. I would maybe cover up the bleached part of the stem and see what she does. I had something quite similar last grow, but it got its act together and turned into a real beauty Miss Cheese auto!

Hmmm.... I had given that a thought but will it just continue as such? Do I cover it with a more to the organic soil mix or let it grow & see what happems?

Add more soil mix, stand plant upright, firm in around plant.

This is what I would do.

You can grow in just perlite- so it's not too much.
You do not need to cover a cannabis seeds for it to grow.
Looks like over watering to me- just do what Korn has suggested- it's your best shot at saving it.

Just add soil around it. No problem. If anything I see a good thing being that it’s growing fast and pushing hard.

Interesting-take a look where the white root becomes the green sprout- the "hourglass" structure is what you see when seeds damping- off, caused by bacteria that thrives from over watering- ( that was the basis of my comment)-

I see what you mean. I bet a few of my other plants problems are related.... Thanks! So I probably kept the lid on & let the humidity git too high. Heat too mor'n likely.
