Seedsman seeds Autoflower grows...

I would never discourage anyone from getting a 315 lec..

One 315 has the best documented coverage in a 3x3 area..

Just purchased a Diamond LEC 315 and absolutely love it. My LED was bleaching my plants and with the LEC a day or so later the leaves turned beautifully green again.
Did notice the temp in the tent went up a bit maybe 5 degrees or so, not too bad.

Dudes had a scare yesterday.....power cut and my lec wouldn't turn back on after....I feared that a power surge had blown my Philips bulb......all ready to shell out for a new one and hey presto!!...she is running again...Woohooo.....it must have auto reset....soooooo happy:)

I've found that many ballasts have a safety feature so that if they get turned off unexpectedly that they won't reboot again for a few minutes. I think it's because it's bad for the bulbs and ballast to turn off and on too quickly. But in any case I'm glad it's still working!

Thanks NebulaHaze , me too lol :).......I had an old led dug out and switched on in no time, but i don't think i would like to go back to the blurple, Lec makes plants look good :)

"Lec makes plants look good"

Yes, I feel like that's such a huge advantage. Not only does the LEC light make your plants look gorgeous in person and in pictures, it also makes it way easier to spot problems, bugs or deficiencies. I feel like with the yellow HPS lights or purple LEDs that it's easy to miss a plant problem until it gets really bad. That's especially annoying in the flowering stage (when it's most important!) since you can't really look at the plants during their dark period with natural light. On top of that, LECs seem to VERY consistently beat LEDs watt-for-watt.

I'm rocking 4 autocobs, one over each plant. They are led, but normal lighting (not too yellow, and not purple). 55 w a piece, but are equivalent to 150 w hps. My 4 plants yielded 7.57 oz altogether, which is equivalent to about 1.28 g /w (I actually only had 3 lights for this grow). That was my very first grow, deficiencies and all.

My energy bill went up $20/month. My tent never gets above 79, they are completely silent. No ballast, just plug-n-play.

I love these little guys, and will always recommend them when people are shopping around for lights.

I can't comment on the lec's because I have never used them, but most people have good things to say about them it seems.

Is this day 59 from when the seed first broke the surface and became a seedling? Or day 59 counting from when the very first white pistils appeared?
