I have a question which I see has been asked many times , my seedlings are growing like mad but very tall, they need more light I get this but how light do these little beasties need? I have two 28w t5s and the seedlings are just under an inch below these light but they keep growing up, they are around 60mm at the moment and only the first leaves are coming though- any help would be most welcome

The germination went well , first time and 1st success , when I gave it light from the start- my grow tent is not ready as yet so I was told I could place it under my two 28w T5 fish tank lights and it’s gone mad

It should stop stretching when it gets the distance it wants from the t5. And yes the t5 is more than enough for that stage of growth.

Many thanks , once I get my tent electrics sorted I’ll place it in tent , when do I start to feed nutrients ? I’ll be running a 600w Sun master lamp and drip feed system , I believe it’s a Wilma , also would you stick to the recommended nutrients dose or tone it down a little ? Next is to get the area where the roots are darken out,they don't like light. No clear pots.
I'm not a hydro guy can't help you with nutes.

Afternoon all , after some good advise seedling has stopped getting taller and second set of leaves are showing - what would anyone suggest about the height of my seedling - it’s 80mm , will the stalk thicken ? Going to be yawing coco and a drip feed system or I would bury in soil , also when shall I place in grow tent? Many thanks in advance
