Safety pins and LST

Nice idea about the "chocking" the stem,will have to look into that more!!Nice ladies,i wouldn't know by experience how far they need to go but them nugs look nuggy sweet
I also live in a town where power outs are more common than stopping at traffic lights,especially during winter,that said,im drawing all my power from 1 socket and then splitting it through fuse protected multiplug,which means if something pops,the whole op is poof :/ Can't do anything about it,the room one will never ask to see,with no use to me besides a grow room and nothing but a window and 1 power socket in there!!!

Got that right! Growing our own is a great remedy to a lack of $_ and in so many other ways as well. Cheers to all.
 
Nartak.... just curious....what is your plug/timer/ballast set-up? Not sure yet quite which way i`m going to take this grow mate
 
Pagan i will try make it easy for you to read,

1 plug gives power to the whole room
Starting from there i have a fuse protected single extension so it can reach the ceiling
There ive screwed in a multi socket APC fuse protected as well that will power everything.
One plug from the APC goes to the ballast with a 30min segment timer
One plug goes to another fuse protected multi socket on the other side of the grow room (outer) which i then connect the pump and the dry fan to..
Im unsure about timing the feed as i will be here and i also have a small issue with the nutes and i need to hand feed them for a while...

I could surely do a better setup in terms of planning the plugs out more even or at a decent number to avoid empty sockets (only use two in each of the 5 multiplugs)

The ballast is the simplest most noisy and prolly power consuming ballast i could get in the "kit" to start with,Lumatek one i want is 200€ ..
The segment timers which i would totally recommend NOT using,digital ones are better,less stress and far less time consuming to setup after power cut(the segment ones stop running) and for a couple pennies more you could also get surge protection on them!!My ones have nada,just a ticking plug lol!

The house runs on Three-phase electric power so i believe it should be just fine(ive ran the system fully for 4hrs using the 600w MH and i was ok when playing with oven switch,boiler switch etc,no flickers or so in the room..There is NO science and prolly no logic in my way of thinking but im kinda pushing my luck to get this done...Hope this helps,if you have any better ideas i would love to listen!!!

Afternoon all......just chopped first Black Cream Auto. Circular pot ties with safety pins. This bud was harvested 10" approx above soil line and in lower half of plant growth....believe there may be something in this safety pin thing however more experimentation will be needed...........................33g wet with leaves...reckon upon a 75% water loss max

Thank you, that`s very kind...colours look like pink ham meets watermelon red :D...will turn black upon curing. Thinking off drying and curing in fridge to help bring out the dark colour
