Sad day "Defoliation Day"

I started flower last week and deiceded its been 3 weeks since i did a good hair cut so i figured it was about time... always a sad day

Nice canopy you have there Inuart. Maybe some re-use would help with the tragedy?
Since prop64 here in CA I have enjoyed taking my cuttings out to the municipal compost bin. A few people on here also tout their cuttings as salad greens

Defoliation always divides my soul: I am still plucking palm size leaves and when I bring them out to feed them tomorrow there will be a kitchen sink full. However: when I see the growth the fans cover ( and now into pre-flower) I see the future bud sites that need air and light and also new leaves still as well as the big ones getting bigger robbing energy from the sites.
I DO BELIEVE it is a good and proper thing to do .

I'm with you, Brother! Have been trimming mine, little by little, every other day getting ready for flower switch.

Yeah it was a rough day but in a week it will be bigger and better one thing i have found out with growing since this is my first grow is that.. a week goes by and alot of stuff changed its kinda crazy! I left alot of under growth kinda stuff i knew wouldnt make it i just plucked but the bigger stuff im giving it a chance and next week there coming off if they don't make something of them selfs =D It being my first grow im always double guess my self but hey its working out alright! or so i think. i did break a branch taped it back also broke a branch on my semi little about 2-3 weeks into veg. and it snapped it right down used a stick and some ties and leaves didn't die so i think it will repair it self that was 3 days ago!
