HELP! Repotting

I am in the first week of a 12/12 light cycle to begin the flowering stage. I have grown in a 3 gallon pot the entire veg cycle. Is it too late to report into a 5 gallon container?

If they are in cloth pots one can set that in a larger pot and fill with soil. The roots will grow threw it, may damage the pot for future use.
