Got a new phone and a much better camera to take pics and ghost orbs with...so, to start the ball rolling if you pardon the pun....Red Diesel...Well, she bulking out slowly and I reckon a couple more weeks before I stress her for a couple of days...my latest `activity` ....Pic 1....she`s got those lovely burnt red hairs beginning to show, typical of her strain. Pic`s 2-4...some more....Red Dragon....small, squat, wide female with attitude...sounds like the women in my area...fearsome lot they are...could pack a shieldwall with them...anyway, I digress, Pic 5 shows where she`s at now

Looking very righteous, my friend, very beautiful plants, great job. Yeah those babies are bulking up now, gonna be phat, by harvest, and some killer smoke too.
Are you gonna wound any of those buds ??
I hope so, cause I'm pretty sure that you will keep on wounding -stressing from now on.

Thanks mate....not sure what to do, bend or light stress. Do need a break from this soon as I could do better but tad fed up bringing these last girls to harvest...won`t be til Nov/ Dec I`ll next harvest after this lot so building stock up to last....reckon all done by late June so nearly there

If you love these colours alltatup you should run some of the red auto strains....deep purple/ black weed when ground up if you can get the temp drop during lights out....really pretty effect

It is different.....swings and roundabouts really but it adds a whole lot more to your arsenal. Suppose it`s lucky your name`s not Nal otherwise I could be in trouble

Pagan, I'm still under the impression that the choice is limited and the buds aren't as strong. I like growing photoperiod cannabis: I enjoy the whole process of bringing them into flower.

Yeah, they're starting to look close to harvest. If I want a faster dry time_ like say 5 days instead of 7-8 then I don't give them any water for three days before I take them down. I haven't tried cutting the light back a bunch or completely and will at least try cutting it back to 4-6 hrs for the last three days this time.What are you going to do to stress them?
I've grown autos_mostly for the "security" they provide_you can't really mess up the lighting. But I do like photoperiods more for the reason alltatup mentioned and also because I can try different and mixed training methods without having to be paranoid that I'll put them into flower too late or too soon. Last auto I FIMed took a lot longer to flower than its sister did (who only got minimal LST training). I've started trying some regular seeds too_ got a bunch of males last time, 6 pout of 7 !.. At least got one female and she turned out great. Just ordered some more regular seeds too. I've started growing some regulars because you can get strains that have just come out_ first generation hybrids. These are often ones that have recently won awards or close to that.
But it means starting with a bunch more plants and space can get to be an issue! And the plants themselves can vary considerably so you're always taking a chance on being surprised...wishing you some tasty kick butt smoke_cheers!

I really learnt growing weed by growing only auto`s. There appears to be better options for choice over here than your way, I think. I found auto`s had a habit of being routinely unstable and challenging in different ways-12/12`s are so much easier- however auto strains are continuously improving and they are strong. Problem for me is that I grew them before I purchased my Volcano or started to get better at growing so my 12/12`s appear stronger...I `ve made so many howlers that I shudder when I look back. Green 75 is excellent growing them though and has articles here and on youtube. For me 12/12`s are more fun, don`t have quite the same issues and allows more options. I`ve got a couple of auto`s growing now but I wouldn`t routinely grow them....Californian Snow by Fast Buds I believe are the current 2....lovely lasses. ZigZag....I`ve started to take them out of the tent when they are ready and just leave them out in a room as I get ready to harvest over a day or two. This had been forced on me by a lass that had bananas which thankfully came to nought (one was out 6 days waiting)and when I tried them they were.....very strong.... but not stupidly strong....like an extra strong cheddar but not vintage strength cheddar if you get my drift. Do you have cheddar-I`m talking dairy wise- out there? Anyway, lights were on/off all the time. D.A.A.S.69 has been talking about his hanging down method at harvest...very, very interesting and worth nattering to the lad about. He`s been doing this technique for quite some time now with excellent results. Takes balls but worth a try. Alltatup....you were viewed as an honoury man with regard to balls. ZigZag, that's interesting about getting the latest award-winning hybrids by looking at regular seeds. I have grown regular seeds, and there's nothing like the thrill of training the maginifying glass on the plants after the switch to 12/12 and identifying a male for the first time!!! That was like earning a cannabis scout medal for me.

Pagan, about being an "honorary man": I take that as a compliment, I think... I never was a ribbons and frills type gal...

Well, if you believe in reincarnation it`s a 50/50 each time what gender you will be...usually...there must be creatures that aren`t but I`ll leave that for another day....so, in a previous life you might have been a Sven or Eric, a Boris or a Sidney...makes you think, I suppose
