oldjarhead Enjoy that rainy day my friend! I'm envious! I'm in the Fl/GA area & it feels like the whole world is on fire down here. Severe drought & wildfires everywhere this whole year so far. Millions in lost crops & ranchers with no grass for their livestock.

Have a new respect for fire fighters tho. Everyday heros for real!

One fire on the FL/GA line has been burning for about 6 weeks & has destroyed over 153,000 acres now. Over 800 firefighters from all around the country & more showing up every day but it's still growing by 4000 acres every 24 hrs.! Never thought I'd pray for hurricane season after facing down Hurricane Matthew but it's crossed my mind a few times lately.

You must be on the opposite side of the wind direction cause the smoke has been causing grief from that West Mims fire for weeks.
I've never smoked cigarettes & I feel like a lifelong smoker lately. It sucks!!

I reckon it's a little too far south. I had to drive through atl this weekend headed to Tennessee. Didn't even notice anything there but traffic and part of 85 closed down maybe that's why

no I did not take the birds with me and I got there on time all is well lol, I have walked outside a few times with the birds I got about 10 feet from the door and the green one goes errpp like whats up here but I made it back in with her they are both wild rescues so they can survive outside
