Been a long time coming, but the straw broke the camels back and I said I wasn't coming back again when I knocked off yesterday afternoon.
I feel so free... Except for the fear of running out of money. haha
Nah nothing lined up just yet but working on something already and still waiting to hear back about another job I applied for a week or so ago. Got enough money to last probably 2 months but I work retail and it's always busy this time of year so I should be able to pick up some work pretty easily even if it is only for a few weeks giving me a bit more time to find something more stable.
Haha yeah it's summer here now and will be too hot to grow indoors without AC. as soon as my next rental inspection is over in Feb I'll be getting my next grow underway. Quarterly inspections is a pain in the ass.
Probably the best thing you ever did. It sounds like it was making you miserable and nothing feels better than letting go of that kind of baggage. You'll find something better.
It takes courage, but living life every day being miserable at a job you hate just sucks the life out of you. Best of luck on picking up a job you really enjoy!
Amen! That applies to other stuff in your life too. People are naturally fearful of the unknown but it usually turns out to be the best thing you ever did. It's like when someone has a bad tooth and it's painful but going to the dentist is so scary so people live in misery for years. Then they finally get it pulled and hate themselves for not doing it way sooner.
I have good teeth but I had a marriage that was worse than a whole mouthful of toothaches! Key word...HAD!
As scary as it is...congratulations! I suspect every day you will be thinking why didn't I do it sooner and that could go on for some time!
Good thoughts-well wishes coming your way.
Stay open...something will present itself..possibly several at one time.
