question about the Galaxyhyrdor 300 - dimminable LED

question about dimming - galaxy mentioned that one can dimm when in flower why not run full light thru grow ? Germinating at 24 inches (they say 56 inches) going to veg at 18-20 inches (they say 46 inches) and in flower go to 10-12 inches (might be to hot) thinking that 18 inches in flower. Help !! do you led growers use LED glasses ?(cost from 15.00 to 100.00 - +)

I run 2 Maxisun 300 watt (`145 true watts) LED grow lights at 18" in a 3x3x6 tent. As yield is a function of light, I keep both veg and bloom lights at 100% during flowering. The girls love it. I have found that working in the tent with the UV bulbs at 100% gives me a headache after just a few minutes if I don't wear glasses.

I have 2 GalaxyHydro 300w led lights, one has the dimming feature, I keep mine at 100% at all times. For the most part I deal with clones so seeds may react different but this is what I do...45" to start, drop to 40" after 1 week, let the plants grow up to the light during veg and training, once the plant is fully trained and 16" tall I adjust the light to 18" for flower, inevitably a few colas reach into the 16" range and I leave them and have seen no bleaching.

sorry for late answer _ running 18 inches in veg - was at 22 inches. (12 inches flower ?) Please Help have a 3by2 space with 2 - 300's ///confused have heard so many distances. Any help would be appreciated !!!!!! - 1st LED grow - Also thinking of side-lighting with cfl's or led panel's ? 40 inches seem a bit high ???

I keep mine at 22-24 inches for about 2 weeks then drop it to 16-18 the rest of the way, those lights grow some good bud. Good Luck with yours Steve.

thanks !!! at 18 now, they seem to be ok now - guess have to keep an eye out for burn
