Quadlining

After reading that auto's should not be trained that harshly I have discovered that many, many people do this sort of thing. My tent does not allow for giants so this training makes a pile of sense to me. Just have to start em right and keep them healthy.

No problem man! If you've done your research on autos, you will definitely see that most people say to not train them like this.

I wouldn't have tried it if I didnt see people doing this sort of thing on YouTube with great results lol.

My current girls, day 44. I mentioned in a comment earlier in this post that I still have some plants that don't yield a ton. These 2 strains, Red Poison and Trainwreck, are some that I was referring to.

Even quadlined, I can't seem to pull more than 2ish ounces off the Trainwreck. We will see how this one goes. The Red Poison has never been quadlined by me before, but I'm thinking it will be roughly the same result as the Trainwreck.

A big factor in yield definitely comes down to genetics.

Here are the finished products of the grow I just got done doing.

As predicted, the Trainwreck and Red Poison yielded just shy of 3 oz each.


I had a mutant Blue Cheese that ended up with 3 branches per node instead of the usual 2. This came out to be an awesome quadline (a sexline specifically lol) with a very cool birds eye view of the plant. She ended looking more like a snowflake, which was awesome. Ended up with 3g less than 5 oz.

She had a good structure for a quadline, but genetics are definitely a big factor when it comes to yield!

Hey, I have a Gypsy Widow from Exotic Seeds with 3 branches per node too. Looking real healthy and bushy. It is a photoperiod so letting it get to about 16" before flipping.
I will post it when it is a little further along.

I'm not sure what the best stuff is, but I use electrical wire. I believe its 14 gauge

Here is that triple branched plant. A photoperiod I will transplant into a 20 gallon soon. Hope she bushes out and is large. Almost wish I had a nice male to cross her with.

Green Poison XL. 80 days from seed to harvest.

This one turned out pretty small due to getting more nutrients than she needed at an early age, but the buds are pretty nice for her size.


She is the bottom left in pics with multiple plants, or the one closest to the camera on the left.

More disturbing is that someone will regurgitate things they may have heard or seen as fact yet, never tried to see if any of it has any base in fact. Yet, swear that you’re wrong...
