Quadlining

Here are my current girls. I snapped one of my sour diesel limbs early on, but she made a full recovery.

I find it absolutly amazing when the first pic turns into the second thanks Mcubed for getting me started ,I did 25 out of 31 of my woods girls ,to help keep them low and then to get a better yield from them sweet

I'm sure they have, but I have only ever grown autos. Give it a try! I'm sure if you can top a clone, you can quadlije them. I have heard that clones aren't as symmetrical as the originals, but it would probably be fine.
 
This method should work for clones once they have been established (roots have grown and plant is gaining new vegetation). Sometimes clones have longer stems but you can bury the stem up to the first set of leaves when you transplant. Like mcubed said, they might not be symetrical so it may be harder with some but it's definitely doable! Just takes practice!

I won't say I'm the guy that invented this because I'm not lol. However, I did find this method myself before I ever read up on it. Then LurkingInTheGrass pointed me to a different site saying, "hey, look at this guy's method. It looks like the same thing you're doing."

Sure enough, it was, and he had me by about a year I think.

Anyway, this guy grew photos using this method because:

1. Yielded more than just topping and LST.

2. It took less time than doing the full mainline procedure.


It was the best of both worlds, and it's worked wonders for me!

I still get some small plants. My last Trainwreck I took down yielded maybe 2 ounces, probably less. However, it has definitely allowed me to grow some monsters, and improved the average yield I get off of a plant. My last plant I took down got 11 ounces (an auto).

Those six shooters are beasts. Nice growing. You should let s62 see those plants. I just woke up so may have done his name wrong. Who did the Kush come from? I'd like to grow one of those.
 
I’ve seen the six shooter! She looks healthy and big! Hoping mine does the same. Thanks for pulling me in on this, spidermite. It’s nice to see successful examples of what I’ve got.
 
Yeah, you were the one that told me it grows quite large. For some reason I thought it was a fast finishing, smaller plant.

You were definitely right man lol
 
100% what it is all about.

I have some Super Silver and Grand Daddy Purple seeds in hand and they did around 3oz/plant last time. Hoping to up that this grow. Thanks!
 
The Super Silver and Grand Daddy Purple were impressive. All they wanted to do was grow and loved the defole. Smokes great as well.

if you look at the stems when all the bud is gone, you can tell that I didnt open these 2 up enough during training. As a result, they became the tallest plants I've grown, getting too close to the light.

I would have trained them more, but I was on vacation and my house sitter was watching them at the crucial training time. I had started training before I left, and let them grow out the rest of the way without continuing the training.
