Proper ph

I know a lot of tutorials talk about what the perfect ph should be. My question is: if my water ph shows a perfect 7.5 and the soil in the pots shows about the same after watering what possible effect would it have on my grape ape and sour diesel? They're 1 month into veg and are looking very healthy. I guess I'm wondering if I should still try to lower the ph closer to the normal levels or if it's all good? Dunno how much a small difference like this could affect yield and thc

I don't think perfect ph is 7.5, rather 7.0. Neutral may be a better term?

Your soil is probably buffering the 7.5 water making it useable. You may encounter problems though as the plants demand for nutrients increases. I'd recommend ph'ing your water to 6.5 in soil based medias.

You may may be fine the entire grow at 7.5 but why risk it? PH control is easy and inexpensive.

If you are satisfied with your plants, then leave them be. If you start seeing signs of stress, then lower your PH to between 6-7 before you change nutriens.

However some soils will maintain their levels due to organic nutrients and minerals mixed in with certain brands even after a ph down it may fluctuate back to 7.5 And the plant may be just fine being slightly alkaline in the end. I've had varied results and usually it was dependant on the strain.

Thanks everyone! Man I love this place! I'm using a mix of adavanced nutrients and emerald harvest, any recommendations on what I should use to lower the ph?

I use earth juice crystals for my ph down. It's all natural as it's just crystallized citric acid.

Ive used GH ph down in the past. I try not to recommend GH products though... long story...

I love the GH stuff something I learned and I think helps is shake the bottles before you use them on everything! I think you don't have to pay high prices to grow good pot.

GH products work fine. I just don't like the parent company or their questionable business practices. Please don't let my bias change your decisions...

Will check out gh and earth juice crystals(?), budget will most likely be the decider ...I'll ask at my grow shop too, oh west coast I love you so much!!! thanks all!
