please advise....bonza order appears to be "stuck"

I think all seed stores are taking longer right now because of legalization; SeedSupreme let me know that they were FLOODED with orders, had to hire new people to deal with the deluge of orders, and that things were taking a little longer.

This is a fine example of how good this forum is for finding out about seed sellers. Bonza sounds terrible to me: if I hear one person say, the customer service has a bad attitude, I won't go near it.

I have used SeedSupreme three times, and I give them a five star rating:
1. Always fast response to emails.
2. Extremely polite and professional.
3. They acknowledge that business is slowed down right now because of the huge spike in business since legalization votes in November. They told me that have had to hire a lot more people to take care of the demand.
4. When my $18 Green Crack seed turned out to be a boy, I informed them and they promptly put credit on my account.
5. I can pay for tracking. Now, it's hard to track what's going on on the other side of the Atlantic. But once it reaches this side, it was very easy to track.
6. I get free feminized seeds with every order, CLEARLY LABELED.

A few of the experiences I witnessed were a bit similar to yours Bob. They have a convoluted system of shipping. As i (maybe/barely?) understood their explanation- once your order is compiled and they've run your cc card and got your forms and the copies of your fingerprints and retina scan, the info gets forwarded to their shipping dept. Once the shipping dept has it boxed up, its marked as 'shipped'. At that point it's entered the twilight zone, because it can sit in the warehouse quite a while after that waiting to be, ummmm.well,... shipped.....
and that's maybe where yours is.
I should get off this thread and stop dissing the buggers because I've said my bit already- just thought I'd mention that there is a long history with them of just what you are describing - and its possible that it's still waiting somewhere at the warehouse. Most people in the end do get their seeds, definitely not all, and not all usable when they arrive, but your chances of actually getting them in the end are quite high.

Well this thread has been enough to make me quite nervous about ordering from GYO again. This seed situation is getting to be a real struggle! One thing about your particular situation tho bobsakamoto is you stated that the last update on your order thru tracking says it processed thru Langley Hwdc which of course is a mail sorting facility. I googled it just to see if people were complaining about similar issues & oh my gosh!!! Apparently this is the only mail sorting facility for UK and is a real nightmare about this sort of stuff. Now I'm thinking your seeds may truly be stuck in what some of the folks sharing their horror stories call "the twilight zone". Google "Langley Hwdc complaints" or "package processed thru Langley Hwdc" and check it out. Yikes!!!

So I just recently started using TRUE NORTH SEED BANK. This is by far the best seed bank I have ever used!!!!!! The have all the top names in the business and crazy fast shipping. I GET ALL MY ORDERS IN 8 DAYS OR LESS. They also have loyalty points that turn into cash upon checkout. By far best seed bank around.

Why pray tell would anyone wish to get attention when shipping seed? With your ticket I bet extra attention will be paid and a much better chance of inspection. LOW PROFILE IS THE WORD FOR TODAY. when BUYING SEED PLAN AHEAD BUY MORE AND GET INSURED DELEVERY FROM THE SEED STORE. I buy seed 20 at a time never run out!. Some orders take months but the harvest is worth the wait.

update:: just got off phone USPS, the tracking and insurance that i paid for when placing the order seem to have not been "done/utilized" the nice man at the post office was like yeah, basically who ever mailed this didn't pay for that service.....so yeah..... awesome

If that's true then that's a real fk up on their end. One experience like that with a business & I'm done! Sorry you're having to deal w/this bs Bob. On a good note tho, if your order isn't being tracked then there's a good chance that it isn't stuck somewhere & is actually close to being at your door! Wouldn't that be a great ending to this fiasco?

I have used SeedSupreme recently, ordered, got confirmation email, next day got an email that said they are swamped and it would probably take an ex 8 to 10 days, well it took about 12, they shipped on Friday and got it here Monday.

I used the Royal Mail Tracking when they were shipping and then the USPS tracking after it switched hands.

My sad Story -- MSNL seeds, sent me the wrong address to send a cash payment, (Their Credit card side was not working) so now I guess someone in London is going to have a nice day on me. Oh yeah, I think they smoke more than sell. Will not ever deal with those AH's again.

You'll have to wait and see. Bonza can't begin to consider it as 'lost' till a minimum 25 days has passed- standard postal procedure.
After that you can raise a public stink if they aren't cooperative. I'm sure they'll come through especially you make a little fuss.
Usually they'll reship along with a couple freebies - especially so if you're public about it. But try the normal channels first.
They're probably not on a forum this small you'd probably have to join a larger forum-if it comes to that, which hopefully it never will.

I got some awful seeds from Dutch Seeds Shop, so I complained and they sent another order of the same seeds in the same container with the same label. I imagine they'll give me the same result too, which is why they're in a cupboard NOT getting planted. I was going to order a bunch from GYO, and aside from rudeness, are they pro about what they sell and how they ship it? They can be rude, long as I get my order.

I really can't wait until I get a couple of grows under my belt -- The reason - I want to get some experience - see what grows for me and what I like then go to cloning.
I think the seeds are way too expensive but I could get over the price if at least I got treated right. I can't believe how bad this seed industry seems to be with customer service. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are a lot reputable seed banks out there giving good service, but it just seems that no matter where you go someone has gotten a bum turn, one way or another.
Not a gospel to me but I use sites like http://www.scamadviser.com/ , forums like this and other review places for information before I buy, and still it's a 50/50 proposition.
Oh, well I ranted enough, moving on.
