Pick a seed, any seed....

I'm going to be sprouting some seeds in the near future. For those who don't know, I sprout 6 seeds in Rapid Rooters and transplant to solo cups. I "weed" out 2 of them and keep the 4 healthiest. I've already chosen 5. The last spot, I'd like to get some interaction from you, the crew I've chosen 3 contenders to keep it simple.

They will be going into the kind soil setup. 3 gallon fabric pots, 3 pounds of kind soil then filled with coco loco. 600 watt MH/HPS for flowering, induction/T5 for veg. I'll be considering a 24/0 light cycle or the standard 18/6. They will be topped and trained similarly to my current grow. They will be vegged for approximately 2 months or until I feel they're of appropriate height.

This may all be moot as the seed you pick has a 1/3 chance to miss the cut. 66% chance of success for all you optimists.

The 3 strains I chose are quite popular and hopefully some of you are familiar with the end product. Thanks for participating!

Wow..that was fun. Voted against OG Kush because I've grown her 2x...not impressed with her yield (indoor grow). Curious about Strawberry cough BUT my next grow will have 3 Blue dreams in it and I want to see how you work with her. I hear she is tall.

Ive heard og Kush is a challenge to grow with low yield. Going to keep the poll running for another day or so before I start popping seeds

With a 60 DAY VEG YOU WILL HAVE GREAT PLANTS - are you using 10 gallon pots ? better than 5 - bigger pot = bigger plants > all strain are "cup" winners = hard decision ! Toss up between Blue Dream and Strawberry Cough

3 gallon. They seem to work just fine. Coco is a wonderful media.

As of this posting, it looks like blue dream is going to edge out strawberry cough. OG kush is an afterthought apparently...

Anyone notice the odd coincidence... strawberry vs blueberry.. red vs blue... democrats vs republicans.... left vs right... cats vs dogs...

I have. I like the strawberry cough more, but the blue dream is fantastic too. My wife loves BD... she loves OG Kush even more but she wanted bubba kush for this run...

Blue Dream by Humboldt Seed Organization is the new seed elect for the Republic of Royal Nugs. The announcement came shortly after the polls were closed earlier this morning.

Blue Dream was quoted, "I plan to yield far more than the other candidates with the support of my grower and the GWE community."

She won despite a valiant effort by Strawberry Cough and her supporters. OG Kush was exposed early in the election as a low yielder and was unable to shake the stigma.

Blue Dream is the offspring of the famed Indica, Blueberry and Sativa, Haze. She is considered a sativa dominant with a relaxing but uplifting high. A classic daytime strain with a sweet berry finish.

A new journal will be started soon.
