PH problems

Hello, Can anyone advise me on PH problems, I grow in Coco and because my tap water is ph7.2 I use ph down to raise the acidity to 6.0 but lately my young ones are not growing as they should, so I checked the run of and found a ph of 3.5, should I stop using the ph down and use something to raise the ph?

Are you adjusting the pH after you add nutrients? My tap is also around 7.2 but my pH after adding nutrients is normally 6.2. I grow in dwc but the only difference would be your water only days.

I just learned the hard way again, I was checking my PH after adding nutes and adjusting the PH with Up/Down. A few weeks ago it seemed to be I was making more adjustments. I checked the PH with my chemicals and the meter was saying 5.8 and the water was actually below any reading on the chart. I dumped that out and mixed up new batch and used my chemicals to measure. I ordered a $36 well reviewed meter and when it came I tested the 2 meters and the other was 2 off. Long story short I almost killed 3 plants. Get a good meter and make sure it is calibrated. The other thing I have been told many times in coco fluctuate your PH as well. 5.5 to 6.5 in coco. Good luck growing!
