Ph and Coco: Newb alert

So my first coco grow. Been doing hydro DWC until now. Checking the pH of the runoff and it is at 5 (or low 5.x). I have been giving it ph nute water (low nute and cal mag) and it does not seem to be raising at all. I water and check the runoff pH. No change. What am i doing wrong?

Did you rinse your coco well before planting? I had similar problem that led to mag deficiency, the nutes lowered my ph considerably in the water.

I now flush before every watering and it seems to help.

I got a premixed coco/perlite. CYCO Coco Pearl. I did not rinse. Maybe i should have. Just planted with it and watered with ph cal-mag water. Today was the first feeding. Very low nutes. Nute water is 6 going in and 5 coming out. Should i keep rinsing with ph water until a little higher or just let it go for now and see how it is next watering? i have poured about a half a gallon through something about the size of a solo cup...

When you opened the bag..I'm sure you noticed the material to be damp...that is collected moisture...acidic...keep at 6 or 6.5 till run off is 6....

I use the Platinum Cyco but add my perlite myself. It was recommended 1st time I use it to rinse it so I did before adding perlite.
Second round : before planting my Rapid Rooters with germinated seed I had pre- prepared my seedling cups, g
holes punched, filled 1/2 full with mix and ph d water to moisten and allowed to run off some ( cups prepared 2-3 days in advance. )
when transplanting into 5 gal pots I did not rinse my mix but pre-moistened planting area with 6ph water.
every other coco I have tried brick, ground, premix I had to rinse it 2 times.
I prefer the Vigoro size of perlite to mix in...not too small...not to big...just right. 3-1 mix or thereabouts.
Green is right 6-6.1 for coco.
